My first experience there was amazing; I went there for lunch buffet on Saturday and it was kind of crowded. I loved the chicken masala and mushrooms! I went there again today and had to wait for 20 minutes in the middle of my lunch because there was not enough food. It was not even crowded and I dont know what made them take so long to refill the food. By the time they finally refilled all the food, I was not hungry. Also, the chicken tasted kind of weird; as other person mentioned here. It kind of tasted like thaw-frozen chicken. I cant explain exactly but it tasted like it was not fully cooked.

Love the food! But if you order online dont expect the food to be ready when you arrive , even if you request it to be done at a certain time and give over an hour expect to wait 20 min for your food to be ready for carry out I ended up waiting 20 minutes for an order for carryout that I had ordered an hour and a half before hand I do not believe they start cooking until you arrive so keep this in mind arrive 20 to 30 minutes earlier than you would like your food to be ready so that it on time

Ive been to several Indian restaurants in the area including Cafe Spice, Bombay Nights, Mount Everest, Darbar... this one is my favorite. All these places have great food but somehow Taste of Taj manages to kick it up another notch. Food comes out quickly and portion sizes are enough to easily have leftovers. On top of this the prices are on the lower side from my experience. Place is also clean and well kept. Salmon tikka masala with some garlic naan is amazing. Oh, and they have a bar.

The food here is absolutely delicious!! Its the best Indian restaurant Ive tried and Id highly recommend it to others. The service was very good, waitresses/waiters were friendly, and food always comes out hot and delicious. Great place for when you feel like going out to eat and not cooking at home, as well as for dates, family gatherings, and I saw a sign that they do private events too. 10 outta 10, would eat again

Excellent buffet! Normally, I would have to venture to downtown,Towson or Columbia to get a buffet of this caliber. My dining companion was also equally impressed. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant was super clean, well decorated and they even have a bar/lounge area if you wish to enjoy cocktails. They will certainly being seeing me again!

What a treat this place is. Recently discovered their lunch buffet at the very fair price of $8.99 for the buffet. What a value. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the ambiance of the dining room is excellent, the background Indian music is excellent. Thoroughly enjoy every visit I make there. A real gem in the Perry Hall area. Highly Recommended!

Good food,great service.Itz good place for great hospitality.I ordered kadai chicken,chicken biryani,palak paneer and butter naan.Naan was so soft and yummy.I liked palak paneer the most,it was thick n creamy with strips of raw ginger on top of it. I recommend all my friends to come here and dine.Its great place for Indian food.

The lunch buffet was pretty good. The staff was super nice and attentive. The decor is beautiful. I would definitely go back. I have many allergies, so I wish there was a little more to choose from, but otherwise nice place to eat.

The best Indian restaurant in Perry Hall hands down. Ive come here so many times and everything on the menu is delicious. Try it for yourself! Just make sure you know how spicy you like your food because it can get really spicy!

Good food! Great ambience, service & presentation. I had the Tandoori chicken, was quite fulfilling and came with complimentary rice. Mango lassi tasted good too. Restroom was pretty clean as well so thats an extra star from me.

We LOVE this place! The food is amazingly good! The service is better! Love the Samosas, lamb biriani and lamb kahdai! The lamb is very tender! Use Groupon to try it out and become a believer! We did and are now loyal patrons!

Great buffet at a great price. Food is very fresh and buffet is restocked frequently. This is northern Indian cuisine, so nothing is super hot, but all the seasoning is interesting. And the staff are very friendly!
