This visit to the Bangkok Kitchen was our first. Its biggest plus is that it is located just outside a major entrance to Ft. Meade...there were several military personnel in the restaurant for the lunch hour. There is a lunch buffet available, with a small number of selections. Having read the other reviews in advance, we ordered from the menu. Spring rolls was our appetizer. The dish came with 4 rolls, fresh from the fryer, and a light sweet and spicy sauce. They were hot (temperature) and tasty with the provided sauce. My friend ordered a curry with chicken from the menu. She ordered lightly spiced, which for the most part is how it was prepared. The chicken appeared to be all dark meat in large chunks, mixed with potatoes. The sauce was good. I ordered Pad Thai noodles, spicy, with chicken. The noodles were less flavorful than some Ive had, and came out less spicy than my friends curry. The dish was portioned well (with good presentation) and came with all white meat chicken. I was slightly disappointed by the lack of spice in preparation. Overall the experience and food rated an "out the door" cost of around $20, and our check was $22. I would not exclude eating there in the future, but there are several other Thai restaurants in the area that are closer to work or home and of better quality. 07 Sept 2007

Ive been going to Bangkok Kitchen for over two years and have loved it so much that I even had my birthday party there last summer. Frankly, though, the quality of their food has been slipping over the last several months, and today was the last straw. One of my favorites is the penang curry tofu, so I order it regularly--certainly often enough to know that what I received today was NOT penang curry. I was so excited to open my carryout container; just imagine my surprise when I was greeted with the site of unevenly cooked tofu topped with a messy yellow-brown sludge with the same consistency as toothpaste. I thought, Oh, maybe its just a little different today. It was. And by different I mean it was a disgusting combination of something kind of resembling curry with pumpkin pie spice mixed in. Having traveled and eaten fairly widely, I am by no means a picky eater, but this curry tasted so atrocious I threw it away. Ill never go back to Bangkok Kitchen.

While not having any Thailand experience, Ive traveled the nation and eaten at MANY American Thai restaurants. I just got home from eating at Bangkok Kitchen, and I have to say they are definitely among my favorites! They only do canned/bottled drinks, tea, or water, which may be a hassle for those who like to drink a good bit with their meal, but their prices are good and the food and service is excellent! Our food was prepared fresh and fast, the beer was ice cold, and even the water tasted good! With most entrees in the ballpark of ten dollars, I wont hesitate to return!

I am a thai food snob, and this is the only thai place in the Baltimore/DC area worth a return trip. Larb, duck curry, everything is delicious. I always have dinner here, so I cant speak to their lunch buffet, but I would assume it is not as good as dinner. I get the spice rack w/ dinner, since I like to sweat when I eat. I regularly see college age couples on 1st/2nd dates here. Casual atmosphere, not loud, reasonably priced and absolutely delicious food. If I wasnt married this would be my preferred casual date dinner spot.

I work nearby Bangkok Kitchen and have been going there about once every other week since I discovered it in 2011. Thai is one of my favorite Cuisines so having a lunch buffet serving Thai food close to work is a real blessing. The food has always been really good and they do their best to replenish it as soon as the trays run low. Lately it seems to me that the place has changed hands, and with the incorporation of more fresh herbs and a noodle dish daily, the quality and value has actually improved.

Cool place. Kinda weird that it was run by a 18 and 16 year old but I didnt see who was cooking. It was hella tasty. Good red curry. Chicken is not the best quality. But the curry was on point. maybe get the veg. I got drinking noodles that were 7/10. But Id eat there again. Hard to find good Thai around here and the experience was really nice. Had a good time with my wife. We had the resteraunt to ourselves. Show up early :) . Would recommend

We have eaten at Bangkok Kitchen Thai restaurant twice now and they do not disappoint. Today I ordered the Chive Dumplings and the Seafood Noodle Bowl. My husband had the Summer Rolls and the Pad Woonsen. We both had Thai Iced Teas and a dessert of mango with sticky rice as well. Everything was prepared properly, came out quickly, and was absolutely delicious. The service is friendly and we will definitely be back for more.

I go for the Thai lunch buffet and I find it to be really good its a good value. Its close to work and its not usually crowded the food is fresh and they turn it over often. There are usually six to eight options who won the food bar there is fried rice, white rice, a curry chicken, kra pow chicken and a few others. They had these delicious little fried wonton triangles that were so good as well as a soup

This is one of me and my seven year old sons favorite places to eat! Everything is so delicious. The staff is very friendly! I read a review that said they wished they offered drunken noodles... Drunken noodles are definitely on the menu because they are my sons favorite. I love that that they add or take away the spiciness in most dishes according to your preference.

Outrageously-priced tea! I ordered iced tea and had one refill with my meal. They charged me $7.90 for the tea and refill. Are you kidding me? Im not talking about Thai Iced Tea with milk and all the sugar. Im talking about plain tea with ice. Even restaurants in Beverly Hills dont charge $3.95 for iced tea refills. Im never going back to this place.

I eat there are the time with my mother and sisters. So much the people her know us by name. Very good food. I dont like the smallness off the restraint. Its gets too full of military men and women around lunch time every day. So if you do plan on going and sitting in, try to arrive early when re food is hot and there is not too many people.

We always feel welcome here. Good prices, friendly staff, and beautiful atmosphere. Child friendly. I dont see many other kids in there but the staff is always great with mine. We have yet to try anything that wasnt absolutely delicious. 11/10 (It looks like theres no parking but there is an entrance and a parking lot behind the building.)

Great food with excellent service. A true diamond in the rough. Dont let the location fool you. Had a great meal then we treated ourselves to the mango sticky rice and Thai iced tea and everything was amazing! Thai iced tea elsewhere in the area is always too sweet, but here its the perfect blend and sweetness. Well definitely return.
