My boyfriend and I went here with some friends for St. Patricks Day. That was a bad decision. Our rude waitress, who greeted us with "yeah, yeah I see you", took 20 minutes to even come to our table. Granted it was semi busy, but nothing a normal establishment couldnt handle with appropriate staff training and management. When we were ready to close our tab, our wonderful waitress told us that we had already closed out our tab. What actually happened was that she gave our card to some other person!!! Her manager pulled us aside with her to explain the situation as she stood there with a smirk on her face. She never even apologized until after I said something about her apparent lack of concern. Dont worry though, the manager told us we wouldnt have to pay for anything. What a wonderful gesture considering we didnt have a card anymore to pay anyway!!! Thats almost funny. Also, to top it all off my friends credit card numbers were stolen and there were $100 worth of charges including one from Uber (we walked there)!!! Youd think you may receive a phone call from a manager the following day to possibly apologize for their ridiculous staff and for giving your credit card to a stranger, but they didnt even care to take our number.

The staff of The Green Turtle in La Plata are fantastic. They were wonderful & accommodating for two nights in a row as a last minute solution to feeding & gathering my very large family after a memorial at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home. Also of note: This occurred during a busy weekend during March Madness & Easter break. And our family gathering on one night was 30 people, of all ages. Thank you again to the fantastic staff! Especially, James & Tona (Antonia)!

LONG wait time. Server was basically a ghost. Maybe its better on other days, but its 2 PM on a Saturday and the place is half empty. Weve been here for an hour and we have no food... Im disappointed. At the end of the day, I complained to the manager that our kids were hungry and he brought their food out right away. Our food came out later. All in all, lunch was two and a half hours from walk in to leaving and we had a 20% discount on a good meal.

We are a group of a couple dozen retirees that get together every six months or so at the Green Turtle in La Plata, Md. Laura works there and has always done a great job taking care of us as we try to get caught up with all our news and gossip. Weve been doing this for several years and have been thrilled with the food and service each time weve gone there.... The next get-together??? The Green Turtle in La Plata. :)

In a one horse town that has 2 walkable bars....its a good one. Friendly service, large menu with a myriad to options. Ale and wine flow from the taps with craft beer served in bottles. Consume the fire water if you desire but keep your clothes on.

Girls couldnt shake the creeps. A drunk girl backed into my truck. They shut the lights off on us while we waited outside for the cops which was SUPER great when creepy guy showed up and wanted to brawl. SOBER DRIVERS DID NOT GET SERVICE!

Pick another spot, dirty tables, dirty bathrooms. Food ok, service pretty bad, kind of place where there are hardly any tables, servers standing around, and you cant get a refill on water or ur beer

The worst... Poor service...waitress had pet hair all over her clothes & seemed like she had an attitude. She even took food of the table while my son was still eating. Will not be going back.
