I came here to celebrate a friend passing an intense test. The environment is awesome with some good beers on tap. They were playing a Sharknado marathon behind the bar. I like a place with a good since of humor. Im into martial arts and Ill probably go back for the upcoming McGregor vs Mayweather fight. My only complaint is they dont have any black beers on tap, but not many places do now a days.

Haymaker is my favorite bar on H St... stole my heart and liver after my first drink. They describe their fare as "bar food," and it is, but the quality is through the roof. Local craft beer and awesome cocktails. Vee and crew are the best!

Havent had the food yet (will next time) but the service is great. Glad to see a new bar pop up on H St (at least I hope its new, hadnt noticed it until recently). Support this place! And get the hot chocolate.

Small but friendly bar, opened for private party after a show. Offered reduced menu for attendees. Buffalo wings and tatter Tots were delicious. Unisex restrooms had humorous signs.
