My wife and I have been to K Town Bistro twice and both times were very pleased with the service and food. The first time we went was at dinner and I enjoy a great New York Strip Steak. The sides are not huge but they are very good quality and very tasty. My wife had a half chicken and she was also very happy with it. You definitely do not want to pass up on the desserts though... yummy! We shared a creme brulee and it was outstanding. The next time we went was at lunch time. The menu is a little different and the prices are a little lower (which is always nice). Their hamburgers were very good and came with a large portion of fries on the side. It comes with some sort of sauce that makes it unique and tasty. If you are in the area I recommend giving them a try. They have more local character than the typical chain restaurant and it is always nice to support locally owned restaurants.

I cannot recommend K Town Bistro highly enough. The food is excellent, elegant but not overly complex; full-bodied and flavorful. My personal favorite is Crispy Oysters, followed by Filet Mignon with haricots verts and mashed potatoes, followed by chocolate mousse or creme brulee or apple cobbler or... Beef Wellington is also stellar, as are salmon en croute, escargots, and scallops. Really, you cannot go wrong. The service is warm, familial, but not intrusive, and Gonzalo is a master of hospitality. Go, go, go, go. All of you. As often as possible.

This local restaurant in the heart of Kensingtons Antique Row is a welcome addition to the community. The food was good for the price, but nothing to write home about. There were several flies buzzing around the restaurant the day I visited and we had to keep waving them off of our food. The staff were friendly, but not overly attentive. I had to retrieve the waiter in order to get our check. The art and ambiance feels like the 1960s which fits the vibe of antique row, but updates could make it more pleasing. :)

Great hide away relaxing spot. Be prepared that they only serve beer and wine, but thats not an deal breaker. Great seasonal menu with an amazing creme brulee for dessert. Prices are extremely reasonable for a smaller family owned place. I recommend this place for any occassion. Everyone is extremely attentitive and friendly, without acting like the drunk uncle there to entertain at the family gathering. My wife and I are going back for the 3rd time tonight. Its her birthday and know where we are welcome!

One of my favourite restaurants anywhere. This is a real gem of a place that has been open a couple of years and has great service. The owner is nearly always there and the wait staff are terrific. They have a nice wine selection and I love the food. In an area devoid of good restaurants this is an absolute gem and probably my favourite restaurant.

Excellent French cuisine in a casual environ. The owner is a true gourmand, and the waiters are very friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly mannered. We had Sunday brunch specials--potato leek soup, lobster bisque, eggs Benedict and a crab/spinach omelet, the best weve ever had.

You need to go there. The food is great, and reasonably priced. There is also a great atmosphere. Frequently they offer set menus and pairing or other like events. This is a great place to grab dinner on a date night.

Friendly service, amazing food and a nice wine selection make this my favorite restaurant. Get the short ribs and risotto!! Desserts are always delicious as well, so make sure to save room.

Creme brulee is to die for!! Very fresh salad. Good food, friendly attentive service. Prix Fixe before 6:30 includes soup or salad, entree, dessert. Dont miss the creme brulee!!
