Aweful each time ive been there, 1hr 15min and they never made my fried chicken 4 of us left 4 orders 4 tips gone, go back again for breakfast how hard is it to make soft scrambled eggs? Thats cooking 101 they came out flat like a pancake and hard, that was 50 min after ordering, over light eggs sat under heat light a long time, i know they did they had that look, btw i am trained so i know what im saying, waitresses both times had no smile, rolled eyes at us. Wont go back, at least cashier took off money for bad food n wait. I will say this its too bad cause the redeeming thing they had was those were fresh out of the chickens butt eggs, golden yolks, what a waste.

we visited Hancock to ride the C&O and WMRT bike trails. This establishment was situated across from where we were staying. How conveinent. What a mistake. I would have givin it no stars but i couldnt give it minus 3. My haddock fish was cooked 3 months ago and re heated for my consumption. It was rock hard and no taste. My girl friends turkey club was served cold and tomato was fresh two weeks ago. Her soup of the day wasnt even campbell quality. The decor was out of the twilight zone. If you visit Hancock MD find somewhere else to eat believe me. The 2 flys that kept buzzing our table was anoying also.

Ive been here a few times when in the area & I cant say enough about the place. The service was great, the food was more than plentiful & to our request, the folks very friendly & accommodating & the prices were good. They have the best flavored ice teas. The desserts are awesome & the ambiance is nice. We have eaten inside where its a bit retro & outside which in the evening is very cozy. I now live in Chambersburg but am going back just because its a super fun place to go. Thanks everyone. :) The only drawback is there is limited parking out front & could use a couple more handicapped spaces.

Cute authentic diner with red vinyl seats. Friendly young waiters. Food was mixed. The pulled pork sandwich was made of delicious pulled pork, not overdone and dry. Unfortunately the bun wasnt toasted so the sauce made the sandwich soggy and gummy. I had a BLT topped with a fried egg and it was perfect. The peach pie tasted good to me with tangy fruit, but the crust was thick and heavy. It also tasted salty, which I found surprisingly good with the sweet filling, but horrified my girlfriend.

My girlfriend and I walked to this place while doing a stopover at Potomac Airpark (W35) and we both liked our meal (shared it). We ordered a burger with fries, and both were great. We had the fresh fruit pie for desert and it was also great. The staff was friendly and the price for the food was incredibly low. I am not sure on the negative reviews. I think the place was great, but its important to remember what your expectations should be. Its a diner and it fulfills its job very well.

Food is great, service is great! Did not give 5 stars because they switched to Pepsi! Going to Bring my own coke when I go! $1.99 for a drink can cover the cost of coke products. I know Pepsi products are a lot cheaper, but there is a reason for that. Why cant we have both in the same place? This is the 21 century and you are atill telling me we cant have coke and pepsi products in the same place? If Sheetz can do it so can the resturants. So suck it up and pay the difference!

Went there earlier this week after reading reviews on this page. Ordered the beef plate and the majority of my meal arrived raw - not pink - raw! Couldnt eat the meal over concern for my health and because it was unappealing. Brought it to the attention of the staff and the cashier told me I ordered wrong, then gave me the full bill without a second thought. Very poor customer service! The ice tea was fine though. Avoid this place.

Nice little diner.. had a "seat yourself" sign when I got there just before noon but they got overwhelmed pretty quickly, couldnt really keep up, and changed it to "please wait to be seated" shortly after I sat down.. I waited probably 10 minutes at my table before anyone came over, but other than that the food was excellent, and the fresh brewed iced tea jar was awesome.. hostess was super friendly but waitress seemed uninterested

We came across this little gem while driving. I wanted a non-chain place to eat. The building itself is nothing special -- 1950s diner-ish style. But the BBQ is top notch at moderate prices. I recommend either the smoked beef or pork BBQ and the ribs. They even have their own homemade eastern NC vinegar BBQ sauce that reminded me of my childhood in the Carolinas. As a side, I highly recommend the butterbeans.

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while. The bad reviews on here made us avoid it u til today we decided to say screw it. We both orders burgers and fries and he got a side of baked Mac and cheese. The burgers were amazing. The fries arent bad, he liked them more than I did. The servers were very nice and made sure we were happy. Overall my experience was great

This place is awesome! Food is great and served in generous portions. The service is amazing: after ordering a stake, manager came to apologize for running out of that particular cut and offered an upgraded cut. We can notice they are really committed to offer great service to their clientele. And aside all of this, their prices are unbeatable.

Spectacular burger, big fresh cut fries, and the coffee really hit the spot which says something considering we were there for dinner. No burned coffee, it was great! I woke up thinking about that burger and coffee again, cant wait until I have reason to drive through the area again!

Not a picky person however the beef plater was awful.Food was room temperature. My daughters liked their burgers and the fries were good even though they were cold.I did like their coffee. I probably will never come back.Staff seemed stressed but they were kind.Word to your mother.

This place is a find! The Potomac River Grill is at the half way point of the 7 hour drive to visit my brother and nephew. We were looking for something other than the chain restaurants on the highway for dinner and tried it. Very much enjoyed and very reasonably priced.

Waited over an hour for food. No one offered anything in that hour, even a "sorry its taking so long". No drink refills offered. When food arrived, 3 orders were wrong and food was substituted without asking what we preferred. Very poor management and service.
