Ive been going to this Moby Dick location for as long as I can remember. The staff here have excellent customer service. They make a point of getting to know their customers and to make sure you feel important. I once brought the two young kids (ages 1&2) I was nannying with to go eat there and they gave the two year old some scrap dough to play with while I got the one year old to stop crying. The food is also absolutely delicious. My brothers and I always get the chicken kabobs, my husband always gets the lamb kabobs, my dad always gets the steak kabobs, and my mom always gets the salad - ultimately showing, you really cant go wrong with what you choose. Word on the street is that the special is always on point too.

Decent kabob with horrible service. On the positive- MD is clean, bright and appears to be well staffed. Food is average- there are many many better kabob places in DC Metro (and cheaper) but there are also worse. However the last three times Ive been here they have either lost or messed up the order- all times I have had to wait 40+ minutes for a simple (single entree) to go order. The staff has a smug "who cares" look and offers no type of apology. I beg for a decent kabob place to come in (one of the many who treats their customers with decency). if you are down for real good kabob then I could recommend a dozen more. Here only if you are hard up.

The food was good. However, we had more rice than anything. My husband had the lamb kabob and I had the veggie platter. However, I just received a small side order amount of vegetable scattered over a ton of rice. I cant imagine that spinach is that expensive. My husbands portions were similar the cubes of lamb were tasty but very modest. He filled up on rice.

My wife asked to substitute chicken for lamb and filet in the combo platter. Manager refused to do it. Not only that, but was very disrespectful towards her. He really wanted her to walk away for a $70 order over such a small thing. What man treats a woman that way? What kind of manager acts this way to customers? We will never order from this location again.

Delicious Combo #2 with grilled chicken & ground beef kabobs served with plenty of rice and grilled tomato. Freshly made and served hot. Flat bread made on site was served with cucumber/dill yogurt sauce qns all very tasty. The hummus was yummy. Warm atmosphere, clean restaurant, pleasant staff.

My go-to kabob place--i go at least once a week. The staff is very friendly and the food is always great. Their bread and hummus is downright addictive. For first-timers, I highly recommend the joojeh (chicken) kabob. I definitely prefer it to Caspian or Matts.

Authentic Eastern Mediterranean food. Not fancy, just delicious. Eat in or carry out (call in advance for carry out for faster service). Good portion sizes, food is prepared fresh, not left under a warmer. Bread is baked fresh in a tandoor in front of you.

The food was adequate. We had the salmon. After eating it I determined I could probably do a better job cooking the salmon myself (if I had time, but who has time?) I would say that there was just a little bit too much oil in all the food for my taste.

Be prepared to wait for your takeout order. Prices are comparable to the rest of the Kentlands. Food is above average, but not amazing. I usually get a chicken/rice combo.

Ive tried many Kabob places, this is my favorite. Its very popular and can get crowded. So I normally call beforehand, then in 10 minutes I can pick it up, no waiting.
