Why go to Chipotle and wait half an hour in a long line, when Baja Fresh is just down the street? No long lines to wait in, theyre ready to take your order as soon as you walk in. Theyve got perks that Chipotle doesnt. Namely, a free salsa bar and free chips with every burrito, and a boatload of discount coupons available. Prices are competitive too. Plus, guacamole is included in the price of the burrito, no need to pay extra. Sometimes, theyll even bring the food to your table. Now thats above and beyond! Of course, nothing is perfect, and if theres one shortcoming, Id say its the steak. Its bland, chewy, and just not that flavorful. In this case, Chipotle has better steak. But, not to worry, because theres many other meats to choose from, from fish to shrimp and pork to chicken, and even veggie, if youre into that. Veggie is also cheaper too. Baja Fresh also opens 30 minutes earlier than the competition, so thats good too, if youre really hungry early in the day.

I came here one time and I believe that one time was enough. I will explain it with a poem. It was a nice cool September day When my birthday was on its way A coupon, I received A burrito all for me To my surprise After eating, I almost came to my demise For not only did I receive a burrito I also got chips with tomato Happy Birthday to me Happy Birthday indeed.... The burrito was ginormous, and full of flavor. It was very fresh and the ingredients were natural. Warning though, do not eat the Diablo Chicken one. No kidding, it is really spicy (and I love Spicy and can usually hold my own!). Aside from the food, the girls at the counter were really nice. I explained to them that it was my first time at Baja Fresh and they quickly explained everything to me, helped me pick out the food, and wished me a Happy Birthday.

Thought the taco shells werent as fresh as some nearby places (cafe rio) but the fish itself as well as the salsas (mango and pico) were very fresh and delicious. The combo is around $8.50 and comes with rice and beans with two tacos and chips. Would come back again.

Recommend the Burrito Ultimo Enchilada Style! I love that they have at least 4 choices of salsa. Love the brown salsa but cant remember what its called.
