So we arrived at Popeyes about 7 p.m. its now 8:01 p.m. There was myself, my girlfriend, and one other customer inside. There wasnt that long of a wait in the drive thru. We stood at the counter waiting to place an order for 15 min. The other lady had already placed her order. The two females kept walking past us, and never acknowledged us. The young man that was there ended up taking our order, and making sure we had everything we needed. I had to clean off our table and the table next to us prior to eating our food. The dining area wasnt clean. The two females on shift were not helpful at all. They werent being attentive to customers. My shrimp looked like they were picked from the bottom of the barrel. They we dried out and were not fresh. My fish tasted like it had been sitting for a long time. Oh and they had no red beans and rice. The two females were unprofessional. Ive been in there in the daytime during lunch traffic and had better service. I hope this review is taken serious. Once again to the young man that helped us thank you very much.

This place is a mess, they remodeled it but that is it! They run out of chicken, sides, drinks (literally last Friday my last day ever going there, they were offering only wings because they ran out of every other piece of chicken). The one manager is a tall girl with rotten teeth. I am a medical professional and that means when she breaths and speaks from her mouth flies bacteria which is not safe and sanitary and she was serving the food. They open late and close early. I used to go there semi regularly back when the tall blonde manager was there all the time, dont know if he is still there but will never go again. I sent complaints to the corporation but apparently that did not help. Guess I will have to go to Newark or New Castle for my Popeyes.

Ive tried countless times to enjoy the food presented to me at both this Popeyes and the other Popeyes in the area. Everytime the result is the same; great tasting food, served in a mediocre fashion with less than sub-par service. During my most recent visit they had one woman working; the front register, the drive through, and trying to pack orders that were completed. Thats unacceptable, its too much for one person to try and do well. To me it screams that incompetence is bred top down at this establishment. Its a crying shame that its near impossible to enjoy the great taste of Popeyes in our area.

Probably the worst Popeyes Ive ever been too. Should have left when I saw all the flies buzzing around, but I figured I was there. Chicken was so-so. Pieces were small, white meat was dry, breading was soggy. Biscuits were like rocks. 1/2 thick flat rocks. Wanted the mac and cheese, but it was "in the back warming up" and I didnt want to wait, so I settled for the red beans and rice which you would think would be pretty standard fare at a Popeyes, but not here in Elkton. It was more like bean soup with a few grains of rice.

So I called the company at 5:57pm and waited for three minutes on the phone, only to have them pick-up and end the call immediately without speaking to me. This was a first attempt to call in an order ahead of time because I sometimes purchase their chicken on a lunch break. It was in effort to avoid going over my thirty minute break as they continuously fail to prepare and serve food in an appropriate time-frame. Quite frankly, I refuse to conduct business there any longer.

First had to wait about ten minutes for the food to get cooked. Then in our order ask for three biscuits. Got to me Truck realized only got two. Went back in and instead charge me for another biscuit. Didnt apologize for their mistake. The inside was filthy. Would not ever eat inside. They could do some much better if the staff cared.

Bad customer service. Bad management. Waited 40 minutes in drive thru. Never got food ended getting a refund after waiting 40 minutes at the window and told it was going to be another 15 minutes. Didnt even apologize. Will not be going back.
