Went here yesterday. Decided to give it a full day before leaving a review so Id be sure to have more clarity of mind. Im also now dealing with a terrible case of food poisoning from this visit. Prices are definitely NOT worth the quality. First, the scallops were raw, and the server explained (upon asking if they could be cooked a bit more) that Country Cork always serves rare scallops. If thats the case, they should either clarify that in the menu or ask how the customer would like them done (same as steak). Rare scallops is hardly the standard. On top of that, they took the raw scallops back, cooked them more, and brought out the SAME scallops. Granted, I dont know if they had a separate cooking surface, but I wouldnt want to chance eating anything off the same cooking surface as someone elses partially eaten food. Theres no way to know without checking out the kitchen. Second, another item listed slab house made bacon as a primary ingredient. It was pork belly...nothing more than sliced chunks of raw fat. We didnt complain, but at the end, when asked how our meal was, we suggested that they may want to clarify the type of bacon on the menu. Servers response was "Well take your feedback under consideration." Literally, word for word. No apology for the miscommunication. The dishes were $14 and $10 (respectively), and the serving of scallops was 2...i.e. $7 per scallop. The second dish was roasted beets, so $10 for beets and about 3 ounces of pork belly chunks. Finally, 2 of the 4 members of our party, including myself, have food poisoning. I have an iron stomach (grew up abroad), so for me to get food poisoning means its bad. As much as I wanted to like this place, I wont risk another visit. Update: Day 2 of debilitating food poisoning. Definitely not the flu.

We just moved the "Burg" and my wife and I wanted to have a celeratory drink. We found a very local establishment half a mile from our house called The County Cork Wine Pub. Upon parking we find nice outdoor seating and hear music inside. We seated ourselves and were greeted by the owner Arlene. So nice and welcoming! Melanie our waitress was very helpful with the menu giving us options based on our palates. I got the James Mitchell Cabernet based off of Melanies recommendation. The wine was exactly what I was looking for for a night cap/congratulations! She informed me the correct way to drink a wine to enhance the flavor. As my wife and I were enjoying our glasses of wine listening to Drew Stevens we were surprised with a piece of cake to pair with our wines as a "welcome to the neighborhood!" We had already made our minds up that we would be back but that solidified it for us. I cant wait to come back to enjoy another glass of wine, this time with dinner! And more friends!!! Thanks CCWP!!

Though the atmosphere was nice and clean, the food was not as described in the menu. Both my husband and I got the chicken and waffles. The waffle was delicious, but not a Belgian waffle as stated on the menu. Second, the chicken was not smoked and the breaking peeled completely away fro the skin as if it was baked chicken and not fried. The chicken was also under done and bloody. I have gotten better fried chicken at kfc but for less than half the price. The chef tried to explain that chicken looks like that but Im not buying it. It also states that the chicken is drizzled with a sticky, sweet and spicy sauce but it was clearly tossed in buffalo sauce. This is the second time I have eaten here and the food was unsatisfactory both times. I got the grits and shrimp last time and they were watery and under seasoned. Just use caution when eating here. Dont be fooled by the high cost meaning high quality. I think the chef thinks hes a fiv e star chef but doesnt know how to deliver.

We would love to rate this experience better but my husband and I were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The Seared Duck which we ordered to be medium rare was over cooked, as well as the catch of the day that came with the Bouillabaisse and the Fried Oysters. Everything tasted like the chef decided to douse the whole meal with a big bag of salt. Some of the mussels in the Bouillabaisse were under cooked and had a fishy raw smell and taste. The scallops, however, were cooked perfectly and were a very creamy, melt in your mouth texture. Personal preference would be to leave the heart of palm out as the extreme bitterness took away from the flavor, but my husband and I liked the scallops the best. The quality of food that we received was not worth the money that we paid.

Ordered the "assorted breadsticks and flatbreads with olive tapenade" and were served a basket of 3 kinds of crackers and a small ramekin of olive tapenade clearly from a jar. The flatbread veggie pizza had no seasoning, minimal cheese, and canned spinach. The burger was cooked as a solid ball and barely fit on the roll--it was impossible to eat. The fries were good, but they were really short and you had to eat them with a fork. The aoli served with the fries was just mayo that may have had some garlic powder waved over it in a prior life. The beers were pricy, but I wouldnt have minded that if the food I received tasted and looked as good as it sounded on the menu! Dont expect this place to be around very long!

First visit and quite impressed. Ambiance is nice looking, cozy and comfortable. Food is yummy and trying to be creative. No, its not NY or Philly level of modern cuisine, but at least its delicious and not boring chain restaurants type of food. And this is such a rare find around this area. But what we really were impressed with is their cheese board which contained some interesting cheeses. The service if wasnt professionally polished but at least was nice, friendly and attentive. The value was unbelievably great. The most reasonable prices weve met anywhere. Very solid 4 ** place and well keep it in mind and definitely will be back.

All 4 of us loved our food. Its a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. I like my food in the flavorfull side and they delivered. So if youre from England or love Raman noodles then you might want to pass. The service was excellent with very polite and knowledgeable staff. Good choice of wines and beer with the staff offering great choices with you dish. The restaurant is small, maybe 20 tables so make sure you call ahead or make a reservation.

Excellent food but our table was given away to another party right in front of us... on two desperate occasions. twice! And we had reservations both times. This was after waiting over 30 minutes past our reservation time. The owners response was "they had reservations too". Clearly the customer is not valued at this establishment. The best food in the world wont make me go here again.
