Horrible. Went in this morning near seven am. No check out clerks had to do self service. Clerk comes to help. Went to pay and the card reader is down. So she ushers me to customer service. Tries it several times. Hopefully not charging my account. So i offer my check. Instead of letting me fill it out she tries to electronically run it. So its not accepted. She is so flusted now that she lets me walk out without my groceries which only amount to 21.00. Instead of letting me fill my check out and taking it she tells me she cant help me and waits on the next man. There is my cart with my pet food and my lunch. No food for kitty and no lunch. I shop there all the time. Ive had trouble with this clerk before. No managers. Really...

New to Boonsboro, of course I frequent the Weiss Grocery Store there. Ive lived in several other states and notice that different area supermarkets carry different things. I have asked for several things to be brought in so that I could buy the foods Im used to having. All the staff, from Manager to Cashiers - Everyone in this store has been absolutely wonderful and helpful. If you truly want something, just ask them. If they can supply it, they will - pleasantly! I rate this store a 6 on a scale of 1-5 simply because they are so polite, helpful and just plain nice. Bonnie, Boonsboro

The Boonsboro store is friendly however the produce is horrible. It is constantly rotting 2-3 days after purchase. I will not be buying any produce from this or the Ranson store (Ranson store is larger but not any better in the produce department). I was just there, out of necessity, on 1/11/15 and the produce department was disgusting.

Its about our only.choice in town for groceries, but the employees are friendly and helpful. Also, and I dont say this lightly, but top 1 or 2 best places to get Pizza in town too. Have to pick it up, but its cheaper and better tasting than most places in town.

Im happy to have a local grocery store, dont get me wrong this place will do... But over the years Ive noticed a trend of carrying less and less necessities such as canning supplies, certain ethnic foods etc...Im hoping they get back to their rural roots...

It is fine for packaged food or bakery items considering how convenient it is to my house, but the selection isnt great. I would recommend buying produce elsewhere. Their selection is often close to spoiling if its not already mushy sitting on the shelf.

Large variety of choices, friendly and helpful staff, great fresh seafood selections, even a nice selection of outdoor plants here, but alot of these common items are priced more than double from other chains.
