Well store it self was fine although i didnt find all i want. But as i was checking out the cashier ask me for my id because i was purchasing beer. Everything was all good up to then. I asked her if she couldnt look at me n tell that i was almost 70. She replied no id no beer, in a sarcastic tone of voice and said, no id no beer. I said fine and i asked her for her id to make sure she was old enough ro even be selling alcoholic beverages and she refused.. its not that anyone cant tell im old as dirt, but its humiliating to be embarrassed in front of others, not to mention the fact she was forceing me to give up my id , god no who might be looking at it, and to have it stolen by sum one just because she couldnt look at an old man n determind he was older then 21!!!.. ive had my id already stolened once and i really not looking for it happen again.. its my opinion tjis store in Charlestown, wv get there act together and protect there customers right better before someone really loses there life savings. Or maybe they just dont care about the elderly!!

Weis offers shoppers a wide variety of essential items while allowing for quick trips, when needed. Its nice to see a variety of items that are exclusive to this individual market, whether it be brands or items themselves. However, the pricing seems to be a little steep, yet sales are plentiful. Fresh soups and a salad bar are present, and buying fresh pizzas that are cooked while shopping are even available. The pizza quality can be hit-and-miss--with my most recent pizza having detatched crust from the rest of slices due to be overcooked--but are always tasty. As a side note, the entry- and exit-ways are two separate places, which is a little inconvenient if one happens to need to go back to the grocery cart area. This is especially so because both sides utilize automatic doors.

It is an ok store not a great merchandize selection. They probably carry a few of the top brands in categories for food, general merchandize and pets. The store seemed a little univiting due to no natural light entering the building. The parking was reasonable and checkout lanes were ok bit there was only one open in our visit

Everytime I go to this store, its clean and the staff is very polite. Theres usually not a lot of registers open, but they do have a fair amount of good sale finds.
