I used to think it was an OK place, not better or worse than other takeaway Chinese restaurants. Then I spent a week in Beijing, China. I loved the food I got in Beijing (usually from a hole in the wall place) and was thinking I could never go back to any regular Chinese place here in America. As with all foreign eateries, they change the food to accommodate the American taste. Then I went back to Great Taste and tried dishes other than my usual General Tso or chicken & broccoli. I was happy to find they cook much like the food I got in Beijing. Im a happy customer. The staff is not rude, just efficient with minimal talking. I understand this more since my China trip.

Beware - Dragon lady at counter! Asian woman does not greet customers upon entering establishment. She begrudgingly took my order & proceeded 2 hand it to me in a like manner. There are so many wonderful Asian restaurants in Baltimore. Pick one that will appreciate your business. One that will treat you with the customer service that you deserve! Pick one that you will enjoy patronizing time & time again. Dragon lady you left me with a third degree burn and a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily, my favorite Asian place had the remedy. Its quite amazing how mere courtesy will not only improve the taste of the food but the soul of a restaurant!

They have good intentions. But that is not good enough when there are others in the immediate area that are better. The place has a smell and it reminds me of the old days when they just had the exterminator drop by for a monthly "touch-up". The food is not too bad, but not quite what I get from anywhere else. Most of the dishes have a bitter flavor to them (but then again in a few high end Chinese restaurants I have been to this is what the food is supposed to taste like). I do not think this is a "bad" place to get food from, I just think it could use a bit of improvement.

Poor customer service. Rude employees. I always order for delivery and the rude ass old man just dumps the food, grab the money, frowns the whole time and leaves. Doesnt even greet or say thank you like I begged for the food. Yall need to teach your employees some work ethics and better ways to treat customers. Sometimes he even wants to keep my change! Hell to the no! I dont give even a dime for poor service.i hope he doesnt spit in my food or anything like that.

Do not order from this store with a credit card I ordered something and they called me back after putting the order through to tell me they dont order four blocks from where they usually deliver to and now I wouldnt receive my refund until after 8 days..... I dont understand why when I asked if they delivered to my address they said yeah and called back after the transaction to say no.. I would of picked none but I wouldnt be able to post .

I ordered a lunch special - chicken with cashew nuts and got chicken with "Peanuts". I guess in china cashew and peanuts are same thing. The food tested ok, didnt look fresh. It was very spicey for what I am used to. I barely eat chinese, but when I do, I expect satisfaction. This one failed to satisfy my basic desire. Always check your order before you leave the store.

I first ordered from Great Taste about 6 years ago. They were quite good, then. I used to really like Boneless Rib Tips, they were moist and tasty. Lately, theyve been dry and burnt.Shrimp fried rice used to be good, now the shrimp are mushy. I still order there, but just certain things. They have great Spring Rolls. Great Taste is still good, just used to be better.

The customer service was terrible. The little short lady doesnt care about you or your service or your opinion. Theyre over here to take your money and who cares if you like the food and the customer service or not. . Thats the American way! F-eff U Pay Me! Messed up but true...The food was very good, fresh shrimp and vegetables. I ordered the Hunan Chicken...

This is my first time going to this place and it was very unappealing. I ordered shrimp with chili sauce and what I got was 4 pieces of shrimp and ALOT of diced onion. I called the store and they said it is supposed to come this way. What a load of bull!!! DO NOT go here if you expecting good food. I wish I could post a picture of this disastrous meal.

Food was okay but the woman in there is very rude and ignorant and what makes it worst is she seem to either dont care or just too stupid to know that her ignorance and rudeness will keep customers away. She pissed me off I was ready to cancel the order hopefully they didnt spit in my food. Two thumbs down ignorant wench.

The only difference with the lunch special is they add a soda.... Yet no matter what can soda you ask for they do not send it. They give you what they want to.
