Opening night tonight we decided to check it out. It was packed but the greeter at the door was super friendly handing us menus while we wait. The line moved quickly considering it was out the door. When we got to the register the young guy was clearly nervous and trying his best. He was friendly and polite. Halfway through our order one of the supervisors (dark haired female in blue shirt) came over and asked him about an error he had made on another order previous to us. She corrected him but in a very irritated and condescending tone. I dont know how long they have been in training before tonight but it was the first night open. I feel like she definitely could have changed her tone in which she spoke to him and also maybe not have done it in front of us. Otherwise, service was good and good was decent.

I recently went to Popeyes because my son and I were done his school shopping. The first time I went through the drive-thru when I went by myself but this time I decided to go inside with my son. I wasnt very happy with the atmosphere, the tables were dirty every table was dirty the floors were on swept the drink station was not properly cared for with supplies and there seemed to be no one around that was interested in taking care of the cleanliness of the restaurant. The food is similar to Kentucky Fried Chicken although there are some differences that I like. I guess I would say if I go there again I would rather go through the drive-thru then go into the restaurant.

Ive been three times; each time Ive ordered the popcorn shrimp meal. Every time, Ive waited at least ten minutes for my order. First, time my order was perfect; second, they forgot my biscuit; third, I had half as much food as the first two times. The food is delicious but the service is slow. The menu is very overpriced and their website, unlike most other Popeyes chains, did not offer deals or coupons. The interior is very small and they need to expand the old Tim Horton set up; the bathrooms are bigger than the dine-in area. This is still a better option than most fast foods, but if Im paying restaurant prices with bad service, Id choose another option.

Often busy. Every time I eat here its because someone got me thinking about fried chicken, remembering the places I grew up eating at down south (Chick-fil-A, Bojangles, and local places), and I need to scratch that itch. I end up with an extremely disappointing bag of food that only vaguely resembles what I wanted. Its not really that bad I suppose, it just falls so far short of what I know good fast food fried chicken can be. I usually end up considering driving down south for a food vacation before I remember that I only get an hour for lunch.

1st visit was opening nite which was busy but found management to be terrible to the workers very unprofessional. Gave another try so on my second noticed one lady come in 3 times to get her complete order that never was given to her. So I checked my orders yep no biscuits so back in we had to go . Management yet again was terrible to the kids working there and the customers with complaints. I myself do not think this place will last. You may want to take a look at your management staff as the problem and maybe look at your training ways .

Sad sad state of affairs at this Popeyes. Sinse leaving the South I was looking for a Popeyes but up north they are few and far between. There were 6 families waiting for their food, 3 groups in front of us and more behind. One older man taking,orders. He was very slow but doing the best he could. Really needed a shower though. The manager was being very rude to customers and employees. After standing in line for 25 minutes we just left. Also noticed a LOT of people doing the same. We wont be trying that location anytime soon.

Went through the drive-thru today as it was raining and I didnt want to run in anywhere. Woman taking order was rude. I asked her to repeat the sauce choices and she was rattling them off so fast I could barely understand. Got to the window and a MANAGER hands me my soda with the lid half off (which was broken because the lid didnt stay on). I get back to work and they didnt include my biscuit in the meal that was supposed to come with one. This was only second time going there and both times have been a $hit show.

Way too small inside! There are very few tables and they are all crammed together tightly. We got our food fast or I think it was fast. We were in line at the one soda machine when the food came. The line for the one soda machine was longer than the line for food and ended up blocking the door. Food felt pricey for something not so great. I personally rather just hit up KFC 2 minutes down the road. They didnt plan well for their location.

Stopped in to get dinner but used the bathroom first and should of ran away afterwards. Bathroom was nasty with no paper towels and hand dryer didnt work. A manager walked in while i was in there and didnt say a thing about the mess. I bet he didnt wash. Got my food and it was portioned well but nasty. Chicken and sauces were horrible, old, dry and tough. Ive had pleasant experiences at Popeyes but skip this one.

1st visit was fantastic! My family went after the had been open a few days, very busy place but it was worth the wait. 2nd visit was tonight. Drove from Gray to surprise the family with a treat. Placed a very large order to go. Got home to find many mistakes with the order. Had to repeat multiple times as I placed the order. Waiting for a call to see how this will be handled. Not happy right now:(

The manager took our food as the server put it on our tray. He stated 10 minutes for more biscuits, they can wait. This all happened right in front of me at the counter. I have been in food service most of my life and would never behave that way in front of customers or to my staff. Im not upset we had to wait but that the manner in which he treated his staff and customers.

Ordered 3 meals waited over 30 mintutes in the drive thru 1 meal had the wrong side, 1 had the wrong drink and 1 had NO CHICKEN??? I normally dont leave reveiws but this is my 3rd time there and not 1 time did they get my order right, a meal with no chicken just makes no sense. Really not worth the time or money.. will Portland/South Portland get some new good places.

The wait for the food took forever. The staff was not friendly. I felt very uncomfortable and as though my being there was inconvenient for the staff. It was my first time to a Popeyes and probably my last. The only thing that was good were the fries, that I had to wait over 30 minutes for. The manager of this place really needs to get the staff up to par

20 minutes for my drive through order, soda tasted like water. Chicken was cold, and did not get my side, asked for fries and got coleslaw. And the chicken was, well what chicken? It was 80 percent breading. Deffinatly a HORRID first impression, but hey! I got 4 free sporks, guess next time I should get a 5 dollar fill up at KFC.
