The beer is fantastic, and its all made right at the brewpub by two guys who clearly know what theyre doing and have a great sense of humor. The names are super clever--the Knightvillain spiced amber ale is named for their Knightville neighborhood--and the selection goes from lighter ABV session beers to the darker, heavier, more interesting ones. Try their "rum runnings," which is a cocktail made from the first runnings (sweet, almost syrupy) of the days brew, mixed with rum. Ive not run across that before, and it works amazingly well. The pulled pork sandwich I had last time was topnotch, and the selection of sauces for their fries makes them an appetizer in their own right, but I go mainly for the beer, and have been very happy!

I love beer! I love local beer! Foulmouthed is a trendy local bar and they have local beer at a good price. While other breweries are raising their prices and decreasing the size of their vessels Foulmouthed has a great balance. I hate to say Im not nuts about the food. Its a bit expensive for the local brew pup setting. A small city in Maine is not really ready for a "gastro pub" style eatery. My friend had a $12 sandwich with no side at all. Not even chips with half of the sandwich falling apart due to the bread being soaked with sauces and not sturdy enough to handle them. Go for the beer. Maybe try the food, but dont expect a good value for your dollar with the food. It lacks something "New England" style.

Thus far my experience only involves their brews, not their food. That being said the beer, staff and general vibe all rocked, and the menu/food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Theyve got a nice variety of brews, some very tasty and interesting beer cocktails as well as wine for the non-beer drinkers. The art is cool, the beers unique and the atmosphere relaxed. I cant wait to go back and have an even fuller experience!

I didnt get a sense that service is their focus. The two beers I tried were very good. The Korean bbq pork nachos were also yummy, but not something I need to rush back and have again. The biggest turn off was the amount of fruit flies flying around. The staff didnt seem to care about them, almost like theyre just used to them. I guess I was underwhelmed. It is a beautiful space, but that isnt enough for me to rush back.

We found this our first night in Portland based in part on other great reviews. We tried the 4x8 flights, a great way to sample all their beer selections. But the true thing not to miss is the food. Everyone in our party agreed these fries were the best theyve ever tasted (plus sauces to die for) and the pulled pork nachoes were AMAZING. Do not miss this place.

Foulmouthed takes beer to the next level with a degree of passion and playfulness that a lot of other top-notch craft breweries cant or wont. Their constantly-changing lineup of beers always includes beautiful takes on standards while also pushing palettes with unique concoctions. Plus, their food and mixed drinks are pretty awesome too!

Hip little spot to relax and have a drink. On tap are the unique and very locally brewed beers. They have a custom brewing operation out back that connects the latest experiment directly to the bar. Each new creation has its own custom taps and artwork. Pub fare is excellent as well. Enjoyed the poutine with locally sourced bacon!

Delicious beer and a great variety of it, from stouts to sours! The food is also quite delicious, as were the mixed drinks we tried. It was a bit spendy, but worth every penny! Foulmouthed also has great atmosphere and couches if you can find them empty. Great brew pub overall!

Brewery/restaurant. They brew their own selection of beer right in the back. Their beer tasted okay but I ordered the Thai Basil Margarita which was great. We also ordered the garlic fries which was just OK but the dipping sauce we chose was really good.

Fast becoming my new "local," and judging by the crowds every evening, this holds true for others. If you dont like crowds, a growler is a worth the $5 deposit for the glassware (with their clever logo etched on it) so you can take your beer to go.

This is the perfect addition to Knightville. The beer is great, the food is heavy but wonderful and interesting and the atmosphere just makes me want to move in. Brunch is simple and a treat, a nice way to switch up the usual brewery experience.

Incredibly well-crafted beers, unventive cocktails, and food that captures the uniqueness of the Portland food scene. Most importantly, a staff that makes every visit feel like your visiting family (that you like). This is my Cheers.

Great new brew house in South Portland. Menu is great and I cannot tell you strongly enough to get the pulled pork nachos. Beer menu is worth getting a flight first time out as their taps have something for everyone.

Both the food and the beer are super creative and delicious. The poutine, pulled-pork nachos and all the sauces on the fries are spectacular. Also, the muscle milk stout, DIPA and any saison are go-to libations.

Great beer selection. The best stunner stout Ive ever drank. The best French fries Ive ever ate. The chef, Dan, use to be staff at Hugos. Really great quality and the beers pair well with the food.

These guys are no joke, and no posers. Interesting beers that are never hacky or gimmicky, and if you dont try the goddam garlic fries, I dont know why youre even talking to me.

Nicely crafted beers. Offers a full bar and small menu. BBQ pulled pork nachos were a hit. Special fries with tasty dipping sauces are a must. Good seating inside and out.

Good food and beer. Theyll make coctails too. Love the poutine with bacon, mmmm. With 6 beers on tap, there is always a good beer to wash the poutine down.

I went there for lunch and it couldnt have been more perfect. A giant pork katsu sandwich and some Yuxu Goss to wash it down
