Fernleaf stands out as the more sophisticated bakery in the area. Its selection is smaller, but what they do is very high quality. There are a couple of donut shops over the bridge in Biddeford if what youre looking for is a big, super sweet donut; but if youre after a gourmet panini or a heavenly quiche, maybe a Russian teacake for dessert, you want Fernleaf. Prices are steeper than other places locally, but not unreasonable given the quality of the food. This morning my wife had breakfast there with coffee, and I think the total was less than $16, including a dollar in the tip jar.

Always have fresh pastries in the morning. They know how to make cappuccinos without burning the milk. The younger people working here are very friendly and give off a warming atmosphere, whereas, the older people arent very personable. I also like that they do the punch card system on coffee. Parking is very easy to find around the business. Improvement: most bakeries give a discount on the coffee if you bring in your own thermos. I wish this place would do the same.

The breakfast quiches are like eating a cloud - so fluffy and tasty! The variety of morning pastries makes it hard to choose, so its best to get a couple. The Fernleaf creates some of the best pastries youll find. We were visiting Camp Ellis for just a few days, most of them were spent picking up breakfast provisions at Fernleaf! Yum!!!

This is a great place. We stumbled on it while traveling in a rainstorm and its just the kind of cozy, welcoming place you want to discover in a rainstorm. And any other time, actually. If you live in the area, I urge you to support this place. This is the kind of small business every town needs.

What a joy to discover this lovely hide-a-way Bakery and coffee spot!! Absolutely charming and so many delicious treats to choose from. I asked for a gluten free sweet....and was awed with several options. (cant say they were low in calories... BUT WORTH IT!)

Their menu board is hard to read but they make a good panini. Ive gone in twice not knowing quite what I wanted and its hard to make a decision in the small space if youre not familiar with the options. I got a latte here once and it was not good.

Everything is delicious! Its a great place for a lunch break or coffee date, and the cakes are phenomenal. Try the feta and spinach quiche for breakfast, or the HLT (hummus, lettuce, and tomato) on their homemade bread for lunch!

Their chocolate fudge cookies are probably the best cookies Ive ever had. Likewise with their double chocolate brownies. Muffins, cakes and other pastries are great as well.

Best blueberry danish I ever had. My husband enjoyed a really good breakfast sandwich. This was our first visit to this cute coffee shop, but well be going back.

Cute place. Quiche was delicious. Coffee was overpriced and not good. Nothing cheap here! Baked goods looked pretty though.

Good ice coffee. The pork hand pie and cinnamon sugar croissant were good. The ambiance was bit odd.
