If you get a chance, talk to Mark, the owner, hes often working the kitchen in back. Mark loves Sinatra, Football, and the finer things in life- which explains why Food Stop has a dazzling wine collection with hundreds of varieties in the back. This little store makes you feel like youve stepped back in time to a simpler age. Food Stops new sandwich menu is dynamite along with their more complicated pizzas. They also started a surprisingly good microbrew beer section. Believe it or not, little Food Stop hosts the areas best wine tastings, with expert sommeliers sampling a range of wines at least once a month.

A hidden gem that is not so hidden to the residents of Cumberland. Friendly service and a dedication to giving the areas youth responsibility and opportunity is a plus. You can tell that all who work there are like a big family. Mark, the owner is a great guy who is friendly and knows his wine and his meat. The take out is great and creative. Call ahead as it almost always busy. It may not always be fast but it is always welcoming and they treat their customers right. Its become a staple in our lives and Im glad for that.

Ordered salads that were all wrong (no extra feta, no dressing, forgot the chicken) and...the salads were so small that you could have fit 2 or 3 more in the container; there was almost no lettuce even! When I asked the employees to add lettuce they were rude and only did one...then I asked for them to do the other two and he threw the salad down as he grabbed the others....all the while smirking and laughing with his friend whilst he added lettuce....very uncomfortable experience....

The pizza at Food Stop is second to none! This is, without question, the best pizza I have ever had in my life! And the subs and sandwiches are also top notch! The only thing that even comes close to the quality of the food is the quality and friendliness of the owner and his staff. I would eat here every day if I had things my way! Absolutely worth the trip!

A good selection and surprising combination of typical convenience store wares, American food made to order, desserts, fresh produce and gourmet items... Their classic burger is delicious and fresh. You can tell theyre handmade with quality ingredients!

If you havent tried the butchers meats from Food Stop, youre seriously missing out! We grabbed a steak in between grocery runs last week. Best. Steak. Ever. Restaurant quality at a bargain price! Highly recommended. Yum!
