Not my favorite, likely wont be back. First, menu does not list how tacos are dressed and when I inquired while ordering, the staff member was unsure and didnt bother to check, simple responding "yes, lettuce, cheese." However, the tacos did NOT come with lettuce at all...but came with red onion and cilantro instead, which I do not like and would have changed had the correct info been given to me. Since it was a to-go order there wasnt much I could do. Also, the to go order was not checked by staff and I was missing 2 items from the single dinner ordered! In addition, when picking up the order, I practically had to offer to pay 3 times because the staff member was too involved in a conversation with personal friends and just shoved my food to me on a dirty bar counter (getting the bottom of the bag really gross). He seemed unaware that payment had not been taken even though he was the staff memeber who took my order. When I asked him what the total was he looked completely puzzled and asked me what I needed. I replied, "Would you like me to pay?" Only then did he realize that he had not taken my payment or provided a bill of any sort to me. I should have just walked out but am too honest for my own good. Salsa tastes like tomato paste. I love salsa, and yet as hungry as I was and after paying good money on a botched order, I couldnt stomach eating more than a few bites before I tossed it. Tacos were overloaded with cilantro and onion. The steak meat was over peppered with no trace of any true mexican spice or flavor. I guess I was supposed to get drunk first...then maybe I would have liked it. I spoke to the manager on the phone, and he was nice and did offer sincere apologies. He extended an offer to receive a discount if I returned but gave no contact info if I did return in the future....so it doesnt make me want to run back anytime soon. A refunded payment or a small gift certificate left in my name would have made the experience sting a little less and condider giving the place a second chance, but I doubt I will.

Cute place but mediocre food!! I really dont understand how a human being can like and give a nice review to that place!!! The service is good, the menu is quite attractive, but the food has no taste at all, they put lots of onion on the plate to compensate the lack of real pieces of meat, no seasoning at all. The worse of all, the pictures on the menu is what they call, a representation of the food, yes, nice food just in the pictures because what is going to come to you is going to be an ugly looking food that tastes worse than the appearance of it... the people of Baton Rouge never complain, they eat, pay and complain at home, and let the restaurants get away with Super bad food that doesnt deserve any stars. The owners are deceiving costumers with a beautiful attractive picture... Its a very disgusting and Deceptive Propaganda. Should close the doors for good !!!

The restaurant is very attractive. The wait staff friendly and pleasant. Thats where the good experience ends.... The jalapeño margarita had too little tequila and twice as much jalapeño needed. The salsa tasted as if straight from a can with no seasoning, no spice and no flavor. The guacamole was average and the best part of the meal. The food is tasteless and lacks seasoning. The carnitas comes with little meat but a plate full of onions. The charro beans were cold. The beef fajitas had zero seasoning, and a plate of onions with exactly 1 quarter size piece of green pepper. This was a one and done for us.

Wow. What a great restaurant. IF YOU GO ON THE WEEKENDS, ASK FOR JACIEL. He is an awesome waiter, very helpful and pleasant. We had chips and salsa, queso blanco and guacamole, beef fajitas, a frozen margarita and sopapillas for desert. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back. Thanks, Jaciel!!!!

Just tried Agave Blue with a friend last week. DELICIOUS!!! I had the Coconut Margarita (WONDERFUL) and the Chicken Chimichanga, Rice, and Beans. Agave Blue is now my favorite Mexican area around. We sat on the outdoor patio and the atmosphere was awesome. They even had Caribbean music playing.

We have only been here a few times however it has been good (just not great) each time. We love our server (Jaciel) he makes up for whats lacking in other areas and why we keep going back. The food is standard Tex-Mex and is just ok. The decor is nice and the staff is friendly.

We were seated facing wall next to kitchen. And restaurant wat only 25% full. Food was terrible. Fish taco was iced cold. Charro beans too salty to eat. And that is all that I ordered. Definitely will not be back. Margarita was ok.
