I live in the area and had never tried this place before so I decided to pull in and have lunch and work a little bit. NOBODY welcomed me when I walked in, instead asked me what I needed and told me to sit wherever I like. I went to the restroom and then found my seat. The waitress passed me 4 times and never once asked me for anything. I had to go find someone to ask for a water and then still took me 10 min to get. No refills. I was NEVER asked for dessert and I had to go to the front to pay b/c I was forgotten about. Horrible, Horrible service!! It looked like there was no need to talk to a manager since they were all gossiping in the front as a left. I would NEVER suggest this place to anyone!!

Great biscuits, sausage gravy, scattered hash browns with lots of options, chicken fried steak, and the menu has plenty of egg options. The meals are very good and consistently prepared and reasonably priced. The down side is service is poor and you have to ask for butter, cream or jelly and wait for it if they havent run out. Your food is not always served together. Be ready to aggressively grab the attention of a waiter for coffee refills. If the service was better, I would give this cafe 4 stars. Its still my favorite choice for breakfast in my area. I dont mind being aggressive for what I want.

Wait staff needs to be replaced or trained properly. Went there on Mothers Day took 15 minutes to get a drink and we had to ask for refills every time we got them half the time. Orders where wrong and the whole place is in disarray. It needs a face lift. The staff is stoned or something the lady took our order 5 times never going back. I was a waiter for a while so this review isnt given lightly. My advice is to go to oak point buy the food and cook it .

We normally have a good experience at this resturant but this morni b get was horrifying we waited 15 minute to be acknowledged befor walking out. And to add to it you should not allow your employees to wear sluty Halloween costumes to work it is very uncomfortable for me to see you and have to look at your button cheeks and private parts. Thank you. Will not be returning !

Have eatin here many times and have always been very satisfied. You will find that this place gets really packed sometimes and you may have to wait. But is worth the wait. Best prices around hands down. Not your typical chain type restraunt these people really care about there food and there customers. Its worth it trust me.

Had lunch the meal was the worst I ever had out. No effect put into the food. Nothing can close to home made. Gave it a second chance . Meal was cold. To make it eve worse the biscuits were Burnet. They tried to hide it. No third chance. No matter how many cars are there

Food was prepackaged food. Nothing was fresh. I ordered the egg rolls and the center was still cold. It was refrigerator temperature. The lima beans tasted like they were about 14 days old. The gravy was out of a can. Service was good but the food was not good at all.

If you want some good ole home cooked breakfast, come here. The staff is very nice and the food is great. It might take a while to get the food because of it usually being crowded on the weekends but it is well worth it.

It was pretty good for the area. The inside is kind of dingy, but the food was good. Our wait was way longer than it shouldve been. Not likely to go back, but if you want a quick meal this might be the place.
