Food is good - I wont lie - They get a bad rating from me because after posting a (small) complaint on their facebook page about my husband receiving bad customer service on a recent visit - I was attacked in private message form by the Owner, Randy Wesley. My comment mentioned that normally the service is great - weve never had a bad experience there - but when my husband asked about food that was missing after he paid for his order - he was told he had held the line up long enough it was time to move on. But I also mentioned that I realize that the person who made the comment could have just been having a bad day. Mr. Wesley compared my "complaint" to yelling Fire in a crowded theatre. After he admitted to me that Yes my husband was told he had held up the line long enough. Excuse me - But I think I have a valid complaint - Especially considering that this was from the manager. Mr. Wesley went on to say that he stands by the comment and basically tried to threaten me to remove my comment. Hes even tried to imply that this was my husbands fault not his or the manager on dutys fault. We will not return to Pastimes because of the way that Mr. Wesley blew a small "over-lookable" incident way out of proportion. We understand that there will be times that people are having an off day and that service will not always be perfect - but basically attacking a customer for complaining about said service is unacceptable behavior - especially considering he is the owner of the establishment.

I come to the area from Alabama for the 13th gate haunted house across the street. I stopped in to get a bite to eat, and the lady behind the counter was very very rude!! Almost to the point of me telling her to go to hell, and beyond the point of ruining my vacation, and thoughts of baton rouge! As far as the food goes,.....I got a pizza, and a bbq sandwich. The pizza I waited 20 min. for, I got it back to the hotel 1 block away, and is was cold....not warm....but cold! it was a sheet of dough, with light sauce on top, with a thin greasy sheet of plastic cheese on top of that,...I couldent even see the peperoni I had to pay extra for. When I took the BBQ sandwich that I paid 6 bucks for! out,....it was two pieces of bread, you couldent even see any meat!! I ate it in 4 bites!! For 6 bucks, I expected to almost have to eat it with a fork! I had to go to the corner store to get some junk food just to get full,...after I just spent 25 bucks on a pizza and sandwich!!! I tell you, they could make an episode of Kitchen Nightmares here!!

Someone on here wrote "great pizza" so I had to try it out. By far it was the worst pizza I have had in my life. In addition, it was expensive pizza. Cost around $18 for a large with a few toppings. Guess it is a place for beer drinking and not pizza buying.

I went on a date and got two Calzones and a beer during a Saints game. It cost me $43 for it. You do the math. Trust me, food was ok. Not to mention the Bar tender was not working her magic or love. Hardly around and we were the only ones at the bar.

The food was good and the old school atmosphere in the bar was relaxing. French bread on the po boy was a little chewy but everything else was good. Get the onion rings!

Manager/ Owner Randy is a jerk to poor customers and employees. Food good but overpriced. I cant support a man that treats people like what I witnessed

The Pastime isnt as good as it once was but its still better than any chain. I rate it #2 in BR and same applies to the Drusilla location
