Went to have dinner on Fri night. Was very loud so loud the waitress didnt get our full order. We ordered the Seafood Pasta, Mahi, and the spinach artichoke dip. Said we were going to split the dinners asked what the veg of the day was for the Mahi and she said broccoli and asked me if I wanted a side???? Evidently she couldnt hear the second order and just brought the Seafood Pasta out....kept waiting for the Mahi and never came had to stop her and asked for the other dinner, it never was ordered. She was trying to train a young girl and acted agrivated that we made her take my meal back while waiting on other dinner. Long story short it was too loud to enjoy dinner had to yell at each other, she couldnt hear our order and it is over priced for what you get.

Poor customer service. My waitress didnt invest in my table as she should. There was only two tables seated and it took forever to get my drinks and order.. Once I finished my drink i waited for over 10 minutes for a refill. My waitress took pleasure in refilling the other with Tea but never refilled mines. Maybe she thought beacue I was black that I probably wouldnt tip so she didnt give me her best service....I am very disappoint and will not be back to this restaurant...And thats a sad thing because the food was great. I pray that this help train your wait staff to assist all ethnic backgrounds the same, regardless of tip factors.

We were in Baton Rouge River center for a convention, arrived with about 20 people they said it would be about an hour, we said ok. Then they told us maybe, we said wed split into 4 groups of 5 and wait they said ok. Then they told us after wed already ordered drinks at the bar they could not accommodate us without a reservation. It doesnt say we needed one on your website. Poor and rude attitudes, you give the red stick city a bad name. Dont worry about replying I will never recommend or be back. Try to put a smile on your face, youre lacking hospitality for a service institution.

The food is delicious with different options depending on what kind of hungry you are. Something filling and homestyle, amazing pork chops, phenomenal tenderloin...I could go on, its balling. Get the seafood pasta. But I digress, my favorite part is the atmosphere. The service can be silent, proper and quaint if thats what you want; but it can also be relaxed and comfortable without making you feel stiff. It just depends on what you want and theyll cater to it. Do it, try it...then theres plenty of places to grab a drink and bar hop after youre through, all within walking distance

Service was OK. We got our food in a timely manner. However. The good quality was only OK. Wait staff was young, fairly polite, but obviously lacking experience. Had to ask for place settings. This restaurant obviously benefits TREMENDOUSLY from its location. Located anywhere else away from the magnet of downtown, and I would imagine crowds would be much smaller, similar to what happened at their Sherwood Forest location as quality declined.

Good: Walked in without a reservation & were seated right away 7pm on a Friday. Bad: Ordered the chicken & husband ordered the seafood pasta. Both were completely without flavor. Chicken was possibly the blandest chicken I have eaten in memory. Pasta was overcooked and falling apart & husband had to hunt for miniscule bites of seafood among the pasta bounty. Waaaaay too expensive for poor quality cooking.

I use to love going here, until the last few times I went they didnt let me are any of my friends in. Because "I was showing to much skin" the last time; & it was my bday I was so excited to party on 3rd st. And the worse part was only my shoulders was showing. A "white female" in front of me actually got in & had on a similar dress. So now I would NEVER go here & I make sure I let EVERYONE know why.

Terrible service, mediocre food at a high cost, bad music and cheap art. That sums up my experience. I only hope not everyone has this bad of an experience. The service was the worst I have ever received. Generally speaking, all employees at any McDonalds are friendlier. I could even hear my server complaining about the job itself. Just a terrible experience.

went in about a half an hour before closing. In the middle of our meal the lights were turned off, the waiter came asking for our plates because the dishwasher wanted them, Then the waiter never came back, I had to literally get up and find someone so I could pay my bill. Not the first time Ive had poor service but it will be the last time I come back

For lunch, Thursday, June 2, my overall experience was excellent. My server was very attentive, the kitchen was on time and the $2 martinis were delicious. The food itself was fantastic. I had the pecan crusted trout while my girlfriend had the Madeira Steak . They were both amazing and the garlic smashed potatoes were perfect!

The food was good but extremely small portions. Asked for well done salmon got a medium rare portion enough for a baby. Ate a small piece and found out it was medium rare, asked to replace it and was made to pay for the plate and the cheese burger I ordered after it. Was left hungry for 35 mins. 2/10

Terrible service. My husband and I were seated at a table and sat there for about 15 minutes without any acknowledgement of our existence. We finally got up and walked out. I mentioned to the hostess what happened she said "sorry" and turned around and walked away.

Service was not good whatsoever. Our waitress was not attentive at all while she spent her time socializing with bar staff. Drinks went empty. Food took more than enough time to come out. I wanted to actually get up and leave but that would have been rude of me.

The ambience is very nice. The bar has a nice wine list and beer selection. Banger Shrimp was tasty. We split the seafood platter as an entrée. Nothing was very spicy. Our biggest issue with the food was the shrimp was not de-veigned.

We sat outside to eat before heading to Live at 5. The service was slow. We were denied drink specials that are available only at the bar. 3 of 5 people ate fried fish and French fries and got sick.

Great food, fast turn on getting the plate to table! I had the chicken salad sandwich for lunch. Need a little tweaking on floor awareness when new patrons walk in to the bar.
