The staff was not prepared for all the track parents that came into town this past weekend. We stopped for sandwiches which were great. The fries were hot but tasted like old oil. The napkin holder was filthy along with the tops of the condiment containers. They were so full of old food it was black when you wiped it with the napkin. The bottles on the back bar were also filthy. I would think that if you are going to display your liquor the bottles should be clean. The "pepper infused liquor" looked interesting until I noticed the 1/2 inch layer of brown sludge at the bottom. I felt bad as there was only one bartender and one cook. Place would be great if the staff spent some "off time cleaning".

This is a gem of a place! Very causal, homebody local crowd. Its that kind of place you go to just "Be" :) The owner is a charming local gentleman. You can see this bar & grill is a custome made place. Nothing fancy, but pretty dam original! And I totally dig it! Breakfast food was deliciouse. Made from scratch, need I say more! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite causal comfortable place to enjoy a drink!

Went there for drinks and was not impressed. Typical dive bar. Indifferent staff, run down facility, and customers to match. Mostly college kids looking to get tanked playing beer pong on the pool table and middle aged people who never actually grew up. I may stop in if Im at the top of the bluff and really want a beer but I certainly wont be making a point of going back.

Went in around 4:00 on a Sunday for some food and a beer. Even though they serve food they would not allow my gf whom is slightly younger than me to enter. If your business serves primarily food it is legal for her to be there. I shall not be returning.

Burgers where burnt and smelled funny. place is dirty and disgusting, just look at how dirty the condiment containers are in the picture. Nothing like it use to be. Never going back. .

Stopped in for a burger after hiking on Grandad Bluff. Burger was good, fries were awesome, service was quick. They do not accept credit cards but have an ATM

Great food, nice outdoor patio, friendly, efficient staff! Nice big screens to watch Packer football. Stop in. You will leave happy and full!

Great place to stop for a cold one. Also has pleasent veiws. We take all are visitors here for a bloody when they come to la crosse.

Burgers are soooo good. Fries are also great. Its a hole in the wall but thats part of what makes it great IMO. Excellent!!!!

Cool place on the bluff. Deck is cool when nice scenery. Had a burger which was OK. cool place to pop in once in a while
