My wife and I have been trying to come here for a while but always found it to be way too crowed (Saturday afternoons). We went this evening for a dinner with our son and man was it a mistake. The bar itself is nice and seems like a cool/fun place to drink indoors or out. Everything went down hill when it came to the food. The Spinach and artichoke dip was not good at all. But We still proceeded to order more food. I got the breakfast burger and some wings my wife got the philly cheese steak. Everything came out fast which was nice. The first bite into my burger gave me the strange taste of cleaning solution to the point where I picked the entire thing apart to pin point where the taste was coming from. It was the patty itself. It became inedible. As I started to eat the wings they also had a similar flovor of cleaner. I asked my wife what her food was like before giving her my opinion and she had the same look and explained the taste of her steak similar to a cleaning solution. Needless to say our waiter was nice and attentive. I think its save to say the only one that really enjoyed themselves was our 10 month old son which had a few pieces of hot dog and some fires ( he has no sense of good and bad food) keep that in mind. Not a place I would recommend to any one or go back to. Almost 50 dollars spent that I would have rather used at any number of the surrounding restaurants in the same shopping center.

Met up with some co-workers for one of their birthdays late Friday night. Me and another guy went out to smoke a cigarette and when we tried to come back in, the manager locked all the doors. She came to the door way and refused to let us back in stating "I dont remeber seeing you here." Well if you didnt see us then you werent doing your manager duty of making table checks. What if I was a secret shopper? Anyways. I finally get "permission" to come back in and pay for my bill. My entire party overheard our server and the manager talking about how much of a hassle our party is to them. Although she never made regular visits nor did we have much more than drink orders. When the manager turned off all the televisions and the radio we assumed we werent welcome anymore and made our way outside to talk. When the manager was ready to leave she drove up besides us and rudely told us that we need to "exit the property" and as we said goodbye to each other she kept driving around the parking lot staring at us. Everyone in our party was either a server or manager at a different restaurant and we expected much better customer service than this. Very disappointed and not coming back.

Well I use to like this place. Until recently!!! A couple of my friends and I Went here for his birthday. And our server only came to the table once. And she wasnt very happy when she greeted us. And then when more people showed up she came to get there drinks and she was so rude to them and after a few more showed she just stopped showing up to the table. Then the manager was INCREDIBLY RUDE. Never did table checks. And then a few of my friends went out to smoke and the manager locked them out told them they couldnt come back in bc (they were closing.) well for one they still havent gotten there bill to pay yet. And for two it was like 12:20. And they dont close until 1:00 so after we all payed we all went outside to talk for a few and then the manager drove around and told us to exit the property. And she literally waited until we all got in the car and left one by one. My friends and I are all servers/managers at a different store so we know how everything works. And they DEFINITELY dont act like they know how it works. We would have never done that to any of our customers. And if I was a secret shopper I would have failed them instantly. We will NOT be coming back.

First time visiting Double Dogs. Now we did go on a Friday night and we knew there might be a wait but whoever thought of the design layout of the restaurant did not think about where would people stand and wait for a table. It was 30 some degrees outside so no one was going to wait outside. When we got there at 5:30pm there were 10 groups ahead of us they would not give you a wait time. The bar was full so people were crowded at the door around the bar right next to people at tables trying to eat and enjoy thier meal. They have no I mean no waiting area for people. I did not like eating with hungry waiting people standing right next to me staring. I know its more of a sports bar kind of place but the music playing was way too loud! Turn it down a little. Would like to be able to talk to the person next to me without feeling like Im at a nightclub. The plus side was the chili cheese fries were awesome and the Buffalo mac and cheese was a full meal and amazing!

First time customer. Had high hopes, looked like a fun place to hang out with friends. I noticed from other reviews that it was a cramped atmosphere, but I also an emphasis on family friendly. NOT family friendly. No kids menu was provided. The tables are extremely cramped. It was very loud with TVs everywhere. This is sports bar with a Labrador theme. Im very disappointed with our experience. The waitress was rarely around. We actually had to ask another server to refill our drinks. The food took awhile to come to the table. We started with fried pickles. Tasted fine, pretty average, small portion for $7.50. My friend got the Garden Mac and said the entire dish was overwhelmed by the taste of lemon. The burgers are priced around $9 each and do not come with fries. I ordered the loaded pizza and was vastly underwhelmed for $14.99. I was very unimpressed, as were my friends. We will not be returning.

We saw this restaurant was opening and couldnt wait to try it out. Super crowded, but outside waiting area was heated so it wasnt too bad to wait. Food was alright, nothing super special. Had the Garden Mac, which was definitely a serviceable dish. You wont HATE any of the food here, but it could be a little better. Fellow patrons were annoying and loud, but well leave it up to the future to decide whether this will always be the case. Big screens all over the walls - its a sports bar type of place. Atmosphere was, as a whole, a little overwhelming for someone who doesnt typically frequent these sorts of places. On the whole: didnt love it like crazy, but it wasnt bad.

Have visited this location multiple times, so we had high expectations. Sat at the bar and thought we were semi-invisible while "the regulars" received considerable attention. Chicken Fingers are always good. Burger decent ... but you can only get it one way, well done. Certainly not worth the $45 tab this time. Agree with other reviewers that Bowling Green location is MUCH better. -- Updated 31 July 17 Downgraded to 1-star based upon server who was poorly trained and/or incapable of handling more than two person tables ... and a completely ambivalent FOH manager. Sadly this is now a trend. Doubtful we will ever return to this location. Avoid!
