What can I say? Our food yesterday was indeed, super! My husband and I went for brunch because of the great things we were hearing about it. The first thing that stopped us in our tracks were the beautiful quotes on the windows. It was a great start and reminder of how great JESUS is and how great we can bw through HIM. Once we entered, we were greeted right away. I think she was the manager (not sure). She was super friendly. There may have been 3 other groups when we entered. So not busy at all. Once we were sat, we wanted for our waitress. Once the ball got rolling, we never recieved napkins, asked 2 times, asked for my husbands drink to be refilled. She didnt come back to our table once she took our order, I had to ask the (manager, the same lady who greeted us) to bring me some water because I didnt like my drink (I was still charged for it). She didnt bring me my drink and didnt bring us our food, someone else did. We didnt see her until after a couple of bites into our food, she asked was it good, we said yes. It was. My husband ordered the Wolverine quesadilla (which was OMGOSH, SLAP YOUR mama in the face good, sorry mommy). It was delicious! I ordered the Banana Pudding French Toast which was something special, let me tell you. It was soooo tasty. Banana pudding circling it, whip cream on top, banana in the middle, and when you cut into it, dip it in the pudding, it still had a beautiful crunch. I was extremely impressed. Let me tell you. I also had the candid bacon, which was crispy enough. I didnt eat it. I ordered some wings and they were delicious. I thought they were going to be fried because it orginally comes with waffles but I wanted that bangin banana pudding french toast. The two didnt mesh well though. The wings were sweet. They werent fried. They were good, but I wouldnt order them again. At least, not with my french toast. I will say that the prices are a little pricey. Some items (example, banana french toast $10, two pieces). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our waitress wasnt up to standard. She couldve been better (we still tipped her well), because both of us are waiters. I did enjoy the atmosphere, especially when they opened the patio up. That breeze felt great and was different, just beautiful. Also, the music.... I was jammin dawg!!

My wife and I visited Superchefs for the first time when the restaurant was in the back of an antique store. It was small and eclectic and delicious. Our visit this morning included our 18 month old and while the new space is much larger, the menu is still eclectic but executed beautifully and deliciously. We went for breakfast and all the standards are there as well as some superhero interpretations of the standards. I had the Superchef omelet which included veggies, chorizo, and in house candied bacon. It was served with hash browns and a small side of salad greens, lightly dressed. My wife had your standard eggs, hash brown, and sausage breakfast, also with the side salad greens. It came with a choice of bread and the sausage patty was made in house. Our daughter made a valiant effort to eat all of her peanut butter and jelly oatmeal, but shes only a little thing, cut her some slack! Her loss was our gain though as my wife and I got to snag some of her leftovers. The peanut butter flavor was on point, not to cloying or heavy, more like your favorite cookie. All our meals were delicious, timely served, and warm. And the servers are wonderful. Attentive, without lurking. Ready to refresh your coffee and bring what you need. Our waitress even brought us a little thank you note at the end of our meal. Those are the small touches that mark a good restaurant. Overall, one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had, and definitely a place well visit again and again.

Went here for Sunday brunch this past weekend because of their abundant gluten-free options. They did not seem equipped for the Sunday rush - although we arrived at 12 and were told 30 minutes, it was closer to 1:15 that we got seated. At one point we asked how much longer, and it appeared that she had forgotten to put us on the list saying we were "going to be next." Multiple tables were open but remained uncleaned for 10-15 minutes at a time. Once we were seated, the waitress was fabulous. She took our orders quickly and was attentive to detail. The food took a very long time to reach us, upwards of 30 minutes. When they did come out, they forgot one of our groups entire order, but two people assured it would be right out. After 15 more minutes, the manager came over to apologize as they have forgotten to make her meal. Overall, I thought the food was OK for the price. The granola-crusted french toast was mostly granola with very thin slices of bread on the inside and not as flavorful as i had hoped. The fruit cup was perfectly ripe and refreshing. The other group members got eggs which were apparently good, and gluten free waffles which are hard to come by. All in all I would say it was a good meal had the restaurant been better prepared.

When you find a good brunch place in Louisville, the line is out the door on Sundays. That means this place must not have been discovered yet! There was no wait! The service was friendly and efficient. The decor was all superheroes and motivational quotes. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and geek-chic. The food features delicious and interesting twists on American classics. One of my dining companions got the eggs Benedict, which came over a slightly spiced cake of grits, with sausage and a wonderful hollandaise. Fantastic. Our other two buddies got sausage and cheese omelets, which looked good, but I didnt get a bite. And me? Well, nobody gets excited about oatmeal, but I sure as heck did. Peanut butter and jelly oatmeal! It was so good. The one drawback is that the bathrooms are not in the main part of the restaurant, but seem to belong to the building, but this does not end up being an inconvenience. They are not gender-neutral. Everything seems to be wheelchair-accessible, although not super easy. There was a television and the music was a bit loud, which could affect people with sensory issues--I thought it was worth it!

My experince at the new location was not like it was on Wallace Ave. The people are less friendly the food is good but with out good customer service it makes for a bad dining experince as a whole, there are some things that as a customer, I should not have to see and or experince that would make me rate my experince as such. Food was cold, servers drinking on the job, isnt the type of customer service that should be seen with the quality of food that is served in such a beauiful establishment, however the young man that was my sever when I dined at this establishment was deserves 5 stars he was very friendly and knew the items on the menu very well. But as far as the time it took to get food was extremely long and the food was cold when it reached my table. As for the other employees that were pouring drinks and mixing drinks on the job it was not professional at all being that they were still working with customers, I being a person that believes in excellent customer found this very disturbing and distasteful for such an up scale establishment that is based on Christian values and serving quality food.
