This establishment----has---AWESOME FOOD!!!!!!!! Came here on a whim while on the way to Cave Hill Cemetery and although I was initially turned off by the sheer size (or lack there of) of the place, the friendly service and the delicious food quickly appeased any qualms I initially had. One thing to note though----when you get there, you get in line, order, and then they seat you (or put you on the waiting list). I had not seen a set up quite like that before and it took a moment to realize what I had to do. They could really use a bunch of menus right up by the door that you can look through while you are waiting in line. They have a few tables out front and a few inside----so expect a wait if you come during peak breakfast hours. We came by on a Monday about 1pm and the rush had just seemed to pass. If you want authentic, delicious, Mexican breakfast----this is a must visit. They also offer a few lunch items which also looked tasty.

The food is very good if youre willing to put up with terribly cramped conditions, that are in supportable during peak times. 3 tables for 4, 3 tables from 2 that can be slid together to make 1 for 6. 5 stools at bar. Theyll take your cell number at the counter if youre willing to wait somewhere close by instead of the 3 chairs that make up the waiting area/entry, ordering station and cashier all in a 4 X 10 area. It is an order and pay before you sit down which is a little awkward based upon the $$. Ive not eaten bad food here in several visits. However, it has never felt comfortable. Currently waiting (~20min) in front of counter with 14 ahead and 20 people behind, 1PM on Saturday. Small facilities for staff and noticed health score at front had dropped from 100 and 100 to 90. Bring patience if you come.

I feel that, due to the amount of people raving about this restaurant, my expectations got set a little too high. The food was honestly really bland despite specifically ordering things on the menu that should have had an extra kick (i.e. the jalapeno potatoes only had the slightest hint of spice, which I was confused by) and the theme being hispanic-style breakfast. The space is cramped, you feel rushed, and its $8 for a small stack of pancakes. It was both an overwhelming and underwhelming experience. Not bad food per se, just not what I thought it would be.

Best breakfast burrito Ive ever had. Great, fast service once youre seated. It is a little cramped but thats part of the experience. Plus, if youre giving a bad review because you had to wait a while to be seated, that is dumb. Most great restaurants are the same way. As far as Im concerned, they got us in quickly on a Sunday at 12, and theres a coffee shop right next door to chill at while you wait. Plus they text you so you dont have to stand around bored waiting for a table. Loved this place! Definitely 5 stars.

Wife and I shared the chipotle poached eggs and tres leches pancakes. Poached eggs were amazing. Pancakes were good, but we would both get the poached eggs next time. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Dining area is small - not a ton of seating - but its part of the charm. Small bar that seats 5-6 on stools. Steady flow of business on a Wednesday morning. Id imagine a weekend morning being pretty packed, but havent experienced that myself.

Oh My Oh My Oh My. Every dish that passed by me as I sat at the counter looked and smelled delicious and I wanted to order it. What I did order was fantastic. This place is tiny. You may have to wait on a Sunday Morning but it is worth the wait. I cant wait to go back. Delicious, tasty Mexican Themed breakfast. I cant believe I havent heard more people raving about this place. Although if you do then the seats may fill up faster so...

A nifty little breakfast place tucked into a tiny storefront with absolutely delicious Hispanic-themed breakfast items. I highly recommend getting a single tres leches pancake to go along with the more savory breakfast choices. Feel free to split it with a friend, its very rich, but its a delightful twist on a breakfast staple. I dont think I could handle three of them. All in all, a wonderful place for breakfast with friends.

The food here is great! I had a torta con chorizo and a side of Chilaquiles verde. I will definitely be returning for a full serving of the Chilaquiles. The restaurant is small and very popular which leads to longer wait times. However, the hostess will put your name on a list and their system will text you when ready. This allows you to explore Frankfort Ave or just hang out next door at Please and Thank You.

Terrible service. We were removed from our table mid-meal to make room for other guests. The restaurant is small, but how can any restaurant owner seat a guest at a table and then move them while they have a plate of food in front of them?! It made me feel as though I was less important than their other patrons. The food wasnt that great anyway. I wont be returning.

Everything was absolutely splendid! We had the Cuban iced coffee, and the orange juice. And to eat we had the chilaquilles con huevo, tres leches pancakes, the sopes and the jalapeño potatoes. Literally every single thing was delicious! Its a smaller place so there may be a wait, but its well worth it. Very friendly people also and a nice atmosphere.

Con Huevos has delicious food and is highly recommended for anyone looking for a new take on breakfast. Four stars given here simply because the restaurant is very small and its almost guaranteed that you will wait a while for a table. But the service and food is top-notch, so if you have a little time to slow down and wait, you wont regret it.

Food is excellent. Breakfast Torta! The huevos racheros is also good. You order from the bar and then have a seat, the small room can make be a little cramped but the food is worth it. I like being able to order from the bar but, designated servers might make service a little more efficient. All in all killer food and easily accessible.

Oh my! There are no words to describe this experience, but I will try. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic staff... And the food... Off the charts flavor and quality. Chilequiles were perfect, the jalapeno potatoes were mind meltingly delicious. Even the coffee was just better. Only criticism is seating is limited and cramped.

Muy buena comida. Una combinación muy interesante de comida mexicana. Todo muy bien. Le doy 4 estrellas por el tamaño del lugar.

Absolutely perfect. The food here is consistently outstanding. Love this place, my favorite breakfast spot counting not only Louisville but NYC, Dallas, Seattle and San Francisco. I have yet to find a better place. Service makes you feel like family and food keeps you coming back...

Pleasantly surprised! Thought the food would be Americanized but our tacos were prepared and served as if they were from a quaint taqueria in D.F. (Mexico City). The place is a little small but I will definitely come back to try more items from the menu.

Con Huevos catered a dinner party for us. The food was delicious and all the staff were wonderful. The Peredos were easy to work with and had many thoughtful suggestions. I recommend them not only for their restaurant but for their catering as well.
