Mandarin house is a decent Chinese buffet. Like most buffets its got a good assortment of choices (slightly above average in this case, ) its usually fresh and they are usually good about restocking before they run out. This buffet is an overall above average place. The price is around 12 a person at the time of writing this, and as previously stated the assortment is above average for places Ive been too. The restaurant is clean, well kept and not too dated like other buffets in the area. They keep the sushi stocked where as others may stop making sushi all together at 7 when the asstablishment closes at 10(not ideal.) The waiters and waitresses are very curious and typically keep your drinks full and the tables clean. Overall this is a great place to eat.

Well, it all started, I was trying to enjoy some quality Chinese buffet with my former girlfriend. I made the regretful decision of going to Mandarin house by Walmart here in Henderson KY. On my very first trip, to the steam table, I selected a plate and gave it a flip... ROACH... LIVING... and CRAWLING!! I wasnt the only one to notice as I glanced over to see the manager, approaching me, saying "You eat free." We were repulsed and, needless to say, chose not to accept that offer. REAL TALK!! THIS PLACE IS BADD!

Food was cold and greasy. Even though I got multiple different kinds of food everything tasted basically the same. Was wildly disappointed. Waitress acted like we were about to dine and dash because we were going to walk up to what looked like the register, guessing other people do that a lot. Either way it felt awkward and insulting. Wish we would have just gone to Hunan Restaurant, at least we couldve enjoyed what we spent $20 on.

I just ate at Mandarin House for the first time and could not be happier. I ordered off the menu because I specifically wanted tofu with mixed vegetables. The food was fresh and well prepared. At under $7, it was a bargain. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and well-dressed. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely be visiting the same restaurant.

I have never once had a bad experience here! This is the ONLY place in town where I will get chinese! Its always clean and the employees are always polite and even play with my son when we bring him in with us. The food is always hot and fresh as well and Ive never had a messed up take out order.

Went Sunday (7/12/15) was eating fried rice and a piece of the metal sponge they use to clean with was in the rice. Got a whole $3.50 off our bill. This place isnt worth $21.00 for 2 people to eat at.... And that is after the $3.50 was taken off. Ridiculous!!

Not a bad place needs to work on the food warmers last visted had cold food because the warmers for the food was not at the right temperature . Food was not as fresh as it needed to be but the service was good.
