The good lord knows that I am a very patient man, however, when I am beyond hungry and am made to wait to eat because of poor service... well... I get terribly upset and you get a poor review AND you lose my business! That being said... I pretty much had to asked to be seated, it took over 20 minutes to get a soft drink and rolls brought to my table, then I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food. What adds insult to injury is that it is NOT rush hour, the restaurant is NOT busy, and the server is either too busy talking or letting her boyfriend nuzzle her neck from behind at the drink/order station. And it wasnt just me, it was the people behind me had been there for over an hour AND there food had been sitting in the window for over 20 minutes before it was even brought to them AND you told one of the customers that he would have to wait another 20 minutes for his order, and the order that you brought out for them, AFTER you brought my order was WRONG! and btw my order was wrong too and I had to send the food runner back back for back for the additional side item that I ordered. AND from what I ascertained, something of this sort happened to the group of folks behind me last time they came as well. They swore they would never come back... nor will I... #getittogether

Although I like the food at Bob Evans and have gone there for dine-in and carryout quite often, the service - particularly carryout - is horrendous. I have worked in a variety of Customer Service industries for over 35 years, and these employees need someone to train them properly. Today, I placed an order at the counter and still didnt have it 30min later. At the 20min mark, I had to go up and inquire about it (its common for them to forget me when I go in to order, so I wasnt surprised). It hadnt been started because, apparently, there was some confusion about whether I had ordered flounder or salmon (I have never had flounder in my entire life). 10min later, the waitress comes to verify with me, once again, "was it salmon you ordered?" Seriously? I finally got my order after 35min. And it was wrong. Biscuits instead of rolls. Oh, and no one, at any time, offered me anything for my trouble. Wont be going back here soon.

Today, 1/27/15 I had one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I was greeted by Tina at the door and was seated promptly. You have a real winner when you hired her. She was so very kind. My waitress whose name I forgot, was like I have had before, warm and seem to know what I needed before I did. Now this is a great waitress. About 3 weeks ago I ate at I HOP. Any business can have a bad day, but this went way beyond. I had 3 major complaints and was given a free breakfast coupon. I tore it up and threw it on the table. I swear all the plates, glasses and silverware were just taken out of the freezer to put my food on. I will never eat at I HOP again. Thats a promise!! I gave you 4 stars because you can always do just a little better. Very Respectfully, David C. Amand

Service slow as molassis. Our wAitress was okay but she had to cover for others that werent. There were 15 people on waIt lists when we left, yet there were 8 open tables that were clear. And they were saying it was a 15 to 20 minute wait time. If theyd have taken one of the 2 hostesses and put her on cleaning tables or waiting them, it would have helped. If the heavier of the 2 would pick up a dish instead waiting for everyone one else to clear tables, that would help. We had our plates stacked and on edge of table for 15 minutes. She walked by a minimum of 10 times and never once tried to pick up a dish. It is a shame. This use to be one of our favorite restaurants.

We used to really like Bob Evans but they went very downhill. We only tried this location because the one near us was so bad on the last 3 visits, that we gave up going there. When we went to this one, it wasnt any better. Slow initial service and not attentive. My wife order a roasted chicken quarter but the server came back and told us (get ready for this), that they were out of dark meat chicken breasts. So, we didnt want to make our meal choices to difficult for them, so we ordered something else. What we then got came out wrong and one was actually cold. We are done with all Bob Evans locations.

After they took my mothers food back they brought out a raw omlet, my pancakes were so undercooked the middle still had batter in it, my hasbrowns were burnt on one side and like raw mashed potatoes on the other, i also ordered a coffee and they gave me some fancy blend that was cold, my friend got pancakes and they were so hard you had to use a steak knife to cut it, Ive had good meals here before but the new cooks are absolutely terrible, dont plan on coming back to this location and if anyone else plans on coming here plan on going across the street to Wendys after

Have been taking family here for the past three years ...and every time we come something is wrong .for it being a family establishment we give it another chance ...but today was it ....people waiting out side when half the tables are open ..then wait 10 min to be given tools ...thats after the fact that a bigger party was seated and waited on AFTER US.....after receiving burnt coffee our order came out cold...only thing hot was gravy eggs cold hash browns ...just very very disappointing.

I usually very much enjoy the food and the service. Today was certainly the acception. I arrived, got a table for 2. Yet when I got up to go to the bathroom, upon my return, 4 old ladies were sitting at my table. This was handled with a shrug and more time. Then finally when ordering drinks, they were just "out" . My last visit included a hair in my biscuits and gravy. Therefore I may be giving this place a little bit of a break.

Worst service, ever! Arrived with hardly anyone in the restaurant, and it still took us a good 10 minutes to receive our drinks. After a half hour of our food still not arriving, we decided to just leave. The kitchen needs to step up their game and stay in the kitchen. I noticed 3 people in their regular daily clothes, just roaming behind the counter. Just go to IHOP

Was disappointed to see my omelet that looked nothing like the picture in the menu. It tasted good but was visually unappealing. The eggs were folded up into a rectangle and everything was on top of it. Ive never received an omelet like this anywhere. I was also disappointed at the lack sausage and it was ground sausage at that. What happened to the sausage links?

Bob Evans used to put a pot of coffee on the table so that you could refill your cup as you needed it. Now they fill your cup and you have to wait for a waitress to come back to your table for a refill. Very inconvenient for the customers. We eat breakfast every day at Bob Evans and hear the others complaining about this issue. Please give our coffee pots back.
