Went up there last night. They change djs too often and the music played is getting more and more for the younger crowd. I like old country and they used to have a crowd that would karoake the old country. That was a fun time. Oh how they have changed that great atmosphere. Anyway last night I ordered the gumbo (which is the only good thing about the place). I ordered a larg bowl. It came out in a 16oz bowl and was only half full. I asked the waitress, who was nice, about the fact the bowl was only half full. she said she would ask the cook. she came back and said that there was 12 oz. in the 16 oz bowl and that is the limit on what they serve. Dont put the stuff in such a big bowl then you idiots. So it came time for me to order my wings. I tell the waitress I want buffalo style wings and that i wanted all flats(wings and no drumsticks} which is what I order everywhere I go to get wings and never have a problem anywhere else. But not here. So she brings out my wings and there were as many drumsticks as flats. I asked her why not all flats as I ordered and, get this, she said,"they said that I made an UNHONORABLE request". Are you kidding me? Is that the way to treat a customer? They just lost a customer. Terribly run and it will do them in. By the way, its NEVER crowded even on weekends. Gee, I wonder why.

Has completely changed from what used to bring in crowds. What used to be good home cooking is now crappy bar food. Waitress was nice but no other redeeming qualities about the place. Its telling when u done on a Saturday night and you are one of two tables (with the exception of the owner or manager drinking at the bar and another guest passed out sitting at the bar). A tragedy what has occurred to a Florence landmark. Will not return.

Really nice inside. The waitresses are dog ugly and mentally low budget if you know what I mean. The food is so-so. One time ordered biscuits and gravy, and the gravy had huge weird lumps. yuck. what it was was that it had no been stirred for hours and a thick thick skin was formed over the top and I was served that. The waitress said it was ok. lol

Pricey, local fair. Its smoke-filled but the ladies working there are nice. No one is in a hurry and sometimes your server will disappear for a LONG time but - the burgers! They are so good! Breakfast is good too but a bacon, egg, and cheese omelet for pick up will cost you $9+.

Love this place. The people are super friendly. I go for the karaoke, the DJs are so super sweet and always nice. The drinks and food are good too . Great place to hang out.
