We have now had 2 out of 3 bad experiences at the Florence KY location. We tried the online ordering option. Upon arriving they were clueless about online ordering, never made the food, then wanted payment again after it was paid online. We had to wait 30 minutes which totally killed our lunch hour. When the food arrived we asked for plastic wear since it was take out and told they dont do that. In the car we inspected the food. Linguine was missing from the wifes lunch special. I ordered a meatball sandwich with roasted potatoes. They put the potatoes in a aluminum dish full of the water that the potatoes were cooked in and then set the sandwich in the water. When I opened the container to inspect it, the sandwich had quickly became soggy and fell apart from the water. I just took the bag back in and asked for a refund. The manager was not sure how to refund an online order. So I tried to call corporate. Their website does not off contact info, I had to get that from their info on the BBB website. I chalked it up to a bad experience and tried again a couple weeks later on a carryout baked ziti. Once I got home I had a container of just pasta with 2 small spots of what looked like the cheese filling from lasagna. Their were only slight hints of sauce. Not enough to even say it had sauce. How can you charge $20 for a $1 box of cooked ziti with no other ingredients. We ended up opening a can of hunts spaghetti sauce and adding to it. So we learned to never go there and get carryout again. It is very expensive for sub-par food.

This experience started out great, but ultimately it was a regret. We used the restaurant for a rehearsal dinner for our wedding. The first tip-off should have been with the event coordinator: while she emailed, and was never in, especially the day of the event when we needed her. I think that this was most apparent the day of, when the room was understaffed. It felt as if they nearly forgot, and cleared a room at the last minute. The food was good, but it came out so late and the waiters always looked and sounded stressed. The desert came out so late, most of the guests had left, but the final straw was the wine. It tasted like vinegar, and most of our guests opted not to not drink it, buying their own wine instead. That was an embarrassment for us! The restaurant barely worked with us, crediting us back for 5 bottles of wine at a lower price than they were sold to us ($11 vs the $25 that was displayed on the bottles and quoted in the email). Ultimately, this experience was a disappointment for the $1,600 we paid for it.

We went there last night for the first time. We were enjoying the garlic bread and our conversation so much that we did not realize an hr and half had passed since we placed our order. The manager came to us and apologized comp our meals for the night and comped our next visit. were talking 100.00 each night. The food was amazing and well worth the wait even if we had to pay for it. the staff was very friendly and the whole trip was enjpyed by all. I will def be going back thanks for an awesome meal

I wouldnt recommend going here for lunch if youre in a hurry. I visited with my coworkers, and though we were a big group (about 10), the whole meal process from ordering to getting the check/take home boxes was 2.5-3 hours, and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. That being said, the food was delicious (albeit slightly pricey). I may return for dinner but the portions (even the lunch portions) are a little expensive and large for lunch. Service was friendly.

The atmosphere and kindness of the cook, waitress, host and bartender is extrodinary!! An absolute family atmosphere with some beyond delicious foods!! Sierra was out waitress and done an amazing job go me, my wife and our 3 children!! My family may have even been a bit needy and the waitress was on top ofn it with kindness and great speed!! I absolutely suggest this place to every one!!

I really love the food here. The wait staff is great. Unfortunately the last few times weve been have been kind of ridiculous. From waiting over an hour for food. 45 minutes for kids drinks and then another 30 minutes for refills. Once I didnt get my glass of wine until we were almost done eating or entrees. Not what youd expect for the amount of money you put out here.

Waited 25 after bing told it would be 10 minutes to get seated. We were sat by the bar anyway. We ordered our drinks they came almost an hour later and by that time I didnt want to eat there anymore I ordered a mixed drink my wife had a ice tea $18.50 for that price I could of bought dinner at a steak restaurant and had a drink.

The food was to die for .. yum yum! Hostess (madison) was very polite. Waiter (eric) very attentive. Only thing that dampend our evening was the female manager who we heard speaking rudely to the staff. Other then that we will definitely be back

I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant than I had tonight at Buca. Horrible service, cold food, a total of 3.5 hours of waiting around, I could go on and on but Ill end by saying just avoid the hassle and go elsewhere.
