Great ice cream is great ice cream, and theres a lot of that in TX, but Gypsy Scoops may well be the best Ive yet had (and I love ice cream). They have a nice variety of flavors and, unlike so many others, I dont think these are overly sweet. You can really taste the flavors and enjoy them because it isnt being overpowered by sugar. Dont get me wrong, this isnt somehow a health food - its still sweet ice cream :-) You can tell they make it themselves and with pride. Love it!

This is the best ice cream you will have in Fort Worth. My wife and I had them three years ago when they were just a food truck. We immediately looked for when they were to open and shop. We were not disappointed when we did. We would suggest just getting the ice cream and not a shake. My wife said the milk watered down the flavor of the shake. It was still good. But she would prefer to be able to taste the ice cream.

I first encountered the Great Gypsies during a Summer Fest at my Job and if I wasnt allergic to half of the ice creams available, I would surely eat them all. Aside from the polite customer service and smiles for miles, and a genuine passion to make Quality ice cream, they are in a league of their own. This is definitely the place you want to go on those hot summer days, and it will give you a cool.

We are ice cream lovers and have had top rated ice cream in Paris and other famous spots, and honestly this shop was just as exquisite. LOVE the ambiance and decor and the great customer service. We will definitely be back! We tried the waffle with chocolate ice cream and it was delicious. The lemon cookie flavor was great as well. Cant wait to try the donut combo. :)

What a wonderful place to bring the whole family to enjoy ic cream, old fashion soda, waffles and board games. They even occasionally hold a movie night! We held my granddaughters birthday party there and it was fun and delicious. The staff and owner, Julie, were very accomodating. Truly a treasure for Race Street and Fort Worth.

This quaint old house is transformed to a marvelously charming ice cream haven. It is undeniably homemade with great thought into the complementing flavors. By far the best ice cream Ive inhaled. All of the staff are friendly and efficient.

This place is amazing. Unique flavor selection and all home made. It has a sweet just baked waffle bowl aroma as you walk in the door. Small sitting area for children with puzzles and games. I hope this place never changes.

Cant beat homemade ice cream. The flavors are unique and creative and the prices are right up my alley. Only complaint would be parking or lack there of. But that wont stop me from visiting this spot!

Really cute place with amazing ice cream choices. Red Velvet, and White Cholcate Raspberry make a weirdly perfect combo. Also look out for their Cookie Monster and Wookie cookie!
