Really good beer. I had the saison and the blonde ale #2. Wait staff and bartender were very friendly as well. No squelers (half growlers) and they wont fill a growler or squeler from anywhere else. Which is not a big deal, except there are so many craft breweries opening around the state, I have 15 different growlers with less and less room to store them. Imagine if you had to bring a plate specific to each restaurant you visit, or have carryout containers you use for each place you get carryout from. I asked if they wanted to just slap a sticker over the logo on my jug and fill it for me. They werent very receptive to say the least. Still, very good beer and the cocktails looked amazing and very well priced.

This place is great! SW Topeka needed something like this. The staff is always professional and friendly. Amy is amazing and part of the reason we keep going back! 2/6/2017 update - I am not sure if they are growing to fast or what is going. Last few times beer has been flat and lack luster at best. New staff is okay but not great. They did finally get an accurate menu but we will see how long it is accurate. Moving from five stars to three. Need to start paying attention to their beers as they are coming out of the tap before I can return to 5 star.

Topeka has a new gem! I would highly recommend Happy Basset. The atmosphere was wonderful and the brews were delicious. It was a great place to watch a game or meet someone for a drink. They have a wide selection of beers and I was surprised to also find wine and an impressive cocktail list on their menu. All of the drinks were surprisingly affordable! Although Happy Bassett only serves bar snacks, there was a food truck parked outside that you could order dinner from and eat inside. I will be headed back to Happy Basset soon!

Outstanding, and bold unapologetic beers. The brewers are not afraid to try something new and different. Bartender was very friendly, and best of all, knowledgeable. Other patrons were also knowledgeable and enthusiastic about not only what was currently on tap, but what was coming soon. I will be frequenting this establishment in the future. What a great addition to Topeka culture and palates!

Great atmosphere, great brews. The IPA was one of the best Ive had. Wish they served more than just bar snacks (pretzels, peanuts, etc) but they just opened so maybe theyll get there. Growlers were very affordable. Definitely worth a visit!

Love this place and their beer! The atmosphere is very cool. Like a tasting room only part of a brewery, but with a great ambiance and excellent service! And...you can bring your dog!

Great Atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. My boyfriend loved the beer selection. Tanner, the bartender, was awesome!

A very cozy atmosphere that is about to expand. I got 4 Tasters for $5, which I thought was a great deal. The Robust Porter and the Hoppy Basset IPA were my favorites.
