Visited 8/5/17- fairly busy inside. Waited an hour to be served with no explanation why there was a wait, food runner came to the table and held dishes out without a word for us to take, when we asked what they were he said "they dont tell me!" and started to just leave with them. Our chips were stale so we let the server know and 20 minutes later she returned with a flat tone "do you want something else?". As we left, she clearly knew that we had not had a good stay or good service, so she ran up behind my husband and gave a 100% fake "HAVE A GREAT DAY!". People who try that hard to be rotten are clearly in the wrong industry. The chicken and avocado sandwich was very nice, but if you need to get somewhere on time or if you expect to be treated kindly- probably steer clear of this place. If a business relies on word of mouth to have a steady flow of customers, what I hear from many others indicates this restaurant needs to consider how long it wants to make front to back of the house mistakes a regular occurrence. It was clear to me that others around us had issues as well; in getting up to leave, the table behind us was getting comped for their meal and an apology, the table across from us had their meals served with a gap of 20 minutes between so half were done eating when the rest were served. It was falling apart around us, but other staff appeared to be acknowledging that appropriately instead of becoming passive aggressive.

Johnnie on the Spot has a more friendlier employees than this place. Stay away. To Loud, to demanding, to expensive, and service is slow with cold food served. Tried this place twice. Third time is not going to happen. Food is near truck stop / mircro wave quality. At least at the truck stop, you are greeted by people who are glad you stopped by. Tips are better saved for street corner beggars than sharing with the servers here. Make sure you REALLY look at your bill and circle the total - seems they have a basic math issue when you leave....... If you want to contact someone to help you understand why you would ever spend money at the BH ever again- call the Help Line for retired carnival clowns; They have a phone number - the clowns that own this place keep it guarded. I wonder why...... If you are on Main street in DBQ - walk on past the BH. You will be glad you spent your money elsewhere.

I walked in around 2:20 on a Wed. Afternoon its wasnt busy. I sat at the bar I waited about 5 mins was greeted by bartender I ordered a white Russian. Took him a bit to get my drink as him and 1 waitress was on only. He didnt seem the friendliest he actually came off as angry. I tried to order spinach and artichoke dip but he seemed pre occupied by a lot of stuff. So I flagged down a waitress and asked her to put it in for me. When it came out it smelled so good. It was very got. Garlic bread was delicious as well as the dip. Best I have ever had. So the food very good service not so HOT

We were really looking forward to the Sunday brunch. Boy what a mistake. The service was horrible! None of workers seem like they want to be working. The guest had you tell the employees that they were out of food. We sat close to the door and heard the greeter being rude to the guests and taking forever to seat anyone. Our waitress barely got our drink order and was gone. Didnt explain anything, ask if weve been here before or even say hi Im ______. We were looking forward to Barrel House coming to town, but at this rate they wont last long.

This place was busy and we had to wait quite a bit of time for our food, but that was okay since we were not in a hurry! I ordered a pizza,but when it came it had ham on it which I could eat. They had a different term in their ingredients that ment ham. The guy was really nice and took the pizza back and made a new one for us! These guys definitely had awesome customer service! The pizza was fresh and you could taste the ingredients! I could tell it was from a brick oven and that the dough was fresh! Would definitely recommend this place!

Went here for the first time and not at all impressed! Never written a review before, but thought as a new place reviews are important. The service was absolutely horrible! Our waitress never stopped and there were very few other people in the restaurant. We waited 30 minutes after finishing our food before she brought the bill! What made it worse is we had a baby with us who was very restless and we did not plan on spending an hour and a half for dinner on a Monday night. Ordered a chicken sandwich and fries and was not impressed.

We love the Barrel House in Moline. Very disappointed this trip. We know its early but food was served cold without plates or silverware. Have a lot of work to do with servers needing more training. Ours disappeared for quite awhile. I had to go up and ask someone else for a highchair and then again for a box for my leftovers. The hostess taking names was all over the place and clearly didnt know what to do.

The waiters rarely tell you the specials and dont offer much in regards to suggestions. Also went for brunch one time and it was overpriced for what you got. Went back the following week only for bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas to be told that you HAVE to order the brunch to get that offer. Wasnt stated on the posters or mentioned when we ordered and still hasnt been addressed to this day.

My wife and I waited an hour and a half for our food, our waitress never came back since she took our order, then when our food was brought out we both had wrong orders. Its was very disappointing. I had high hopes for this place. Fish tacos were good but like I said both of our orders were messed up..so we had to wait even longer for what we had originally ordered. Probably wont be back.

If you dont like it, and know its "early" dont leave a negative comment. My very first time was Sunday night the 1-15 service was perfect, food was great, beer was cold, and my expectations were met. I am very pleased and will be back many times. Amazing how one person can compare to another facility thats been open for much longer then this one. I love you guys.

The food was really tasty, and My group all enjoyed theres as well. One less star because service could have used a bit of improvement, had to waive down the wait staff for drink refills 3 times and to get a to go box had to ask repeatedly. Otherwise the staff was friendly and got the order correct. I will certainly return in the future for more tasty food.

First time customers. Was a little leery after reading some of the reviews regarding service and wait times. We had an excellent experience. The food looked even better than the pictures in the menu. Taste was outstanding. The service from multiple staff members was fantastic. Very quick AND attentive. I will recommend this place to everybody!
