New friendly owners took over in the fall of 2012. The name has been changed to the Stadium Bar & Grill, reflecting an updated and more energetic commitment to top notch customer service. With an updated food menu and sports friendly atmosphere, it is a great place to start your party before a high school football, Rough Riders, CR Titans or CR Kernels game, all which play their games a short walk across Rockford rd. It has a good mix of locals, along with young & middle-aged sports fans headed out to area events. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The evening I stopped in to Stadium Bar and Grill, there was a Cedar Rapids Rough Rider hockey game playing a cross the street. When I saw all of the cars lined up on the street in front of Stadium, I didnt think I would be able to park. Stadium Bar and Grill does a nice job reserving the parking lot front and rear of for their own Customers. The service was excellent and the employees were friendly and polite..Their food is ausomeness and the drinks are good.

Used to hit this place up for lunch a few times a month and before or after Kernals or Titans games. Since new owners prices have sky rocketed. For that reason i have stopped going completely. Good location, service was usually very good - but they priced themselves out of my business.
