Cute little coffee shop thats quiet and seems to take more pride and care in their coffee than other places here in town, for them it seems like artistry. The cold brew blend is really good. Espresso was delicious. I was disappointed in my Chemex I recently had. The girl who prepared it added too much water and it came out weak and muted. Id recommend placing the Chemex on a scale and weighing the water as you add it so that each cup is perfect and consistent. One unsatisfactory experience wont discourage me from stopping in more often!

Honestly, I really wanted to like this place... the good - a pleasant facility the bad - the coffee. Ordered a 4 shot, 16oz latte, but could hardly tasted the coffee. It was so weak, that the standout flavor was that of the wooden stir stick. Also, the only sweetener provided was white, granulated sugar. Utterly baffled as to how anyone could give this place a good review... maybe the tea is amazing?

If youre willing to wait for a hand-crafted speciality brew, this is the place. Had a large group and we tried various teas, coffee, espresso, everything was wonderful. Standouts would be the flight option (getting three different selections of varying types) and the Chai tea. Highly recommend!!

Delicious roasts at a fair price. Nadav and the baristas were very friendly and informative. During my visit the rotational cold brew was chocolate and mint infused. It was so good I had to get a growler of it to take back to Minnesota.

There is fresh coffee in a clean and quiet place. I found this place when I found some beans sold in Hy vee was roasted within two days. So the roaster should be near Ames. And yes, it is in Ames, in a corner of the main street.

Incredible quality coffee. Very reasonable prices and the guy that owns it is incredibly friendly and helpful. Im visiting Ames so not from here but would definitely come back if in town again. Cant recommend enough.
