This is one of my favorite restaurants - period! Think of it like going to Grandmas house in the 1950s. The decor is quirky but familiar all at the same time. The food is where its at though! Tons of old school salads, combined with a hot buffet that includes hand carved roast beef, ham, and more! Definitely worth the drive from Louisville, KY for a visit - its that good! Anytime a visitor comes in from out of town, this is one of the "go to" places I take them. If you have never been, you are absolutely missing out!

Our family has been coming to the Pines for several years now. We always come down from Columbus and my Aunt and Uncle drive down from Indianapolis and we celebrate all our birthdays at the Pines. We love the food and the friendless of the surroundings and staff. We are really happy when frog legs are on the menu. My birthday is next on the 16th and we will be at the Pines, of course.

We have been driving the 90 minutes drive since the early 80s to eat at The Pines. It is absolutely delicious! Big variety buffet with variety of meats, vegetables, salad dishes. All are homemade and very tasty. Family owned. Which is a real plus!!!

The food was fantastic! Good homecooking. It is buffet style and all the stations were kept clean. The prices are not expensive and is great for people / families on a budget. The staff was friendly and polite.
