If youre a fan of craft beer, this is the place to check out. This brewpub usually has around 15 home brews, 20 or so other drafts from other microbreweries, and 100s more in its bottle selection. In addition, it has great selection of pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and appetizers from the menu. A couple of notes for noobies: * If you regularly drink light american lagers, youll find the environment somewhat unfriendly. Ask your server for a sample of something that looks interesting on the draft selection (maybe youll like it!). * The place gets busy heading into the weekend (Thurs/Fri/Sat night w/ Friday being the busiest night). There are a lot of regulars and you can usually expect the place to be filled up by 6-7 on a busy night. If you want food fast, go somewhere else (Pizza Hut is next door for your mediocre pizza needs!). If youre there for the experience get on the wait list, order a beer, and relax. *If the service is less than fantastic watch your waiter to see what he has to deal with. The kitchen was designed to accommodate a floor space that has now tripled over the past 20 years. The business is growing (a new, different, establishment is opening up downtown in Feb 09). Management is aware of the problems and is working on fixing the problems.

Yea, ordered my regular, signature pizza, A 11 P,M,GP, Art, XO on top, and 4XS tonight. Brought it to the studio in Louisville to eat. Got it back to the studio and bit into it. It barely had a sprinkle of sausage. Now, their menu says, one can get 10 toppings for a certain price. So, I called. An employee answered and it seems Im being taking care of. Let me remind anyone reading this, this is not the first time this has happened in the last 10 years. Usually, Im taking care of but not tonight, say with another pizza or some kind of discount of some sort for the inconvenience for not getting the order right. The owner, who he said he was, profanly told me, to NEVER order from Sportstime ever again and if I tried he would call the police. Not very good, Owner or Managerial skills at all. Now, for the last 15 years, I have supported and talked highly of this place. Ive eaten here for my Birthday Dinner and so, has all my family members. In short, weve spent a great deal of Moolah. NOT ANY MORE!

Ive been coming here since who knows when (who remembers the amazing Sunday brunch and Bloody Mary bar?!). Since then, its had its ups and downs. But mostly downs. The food was terrible when it was Happy Earth Buddies, or whatever it was called (recently post Roger era), and the service and attitude toward anyone who wanted meat or gluten was awful. Skip forward to today. Food is definitely better. Not Croque Madame amazing like the glory days, but pretty great burgers. The staff is much friendlier (Sam is a terrific bartender). But good God, get some staff in that kitchen. Ive been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting for the salad. Itll be another 30 before I get the tasty burger. And Im not even exaggerating. If you want great beer, like really freaking terrific beer, come here. If you want a decent burger, also come here. But if you are hungry, stop and get an appetizer somewhere on the way. All in all, 3/5 stars.

I have never eaten here, but come here just for the beer. All the draft beer can be taken home for $8.50 if you bring in your own growler (64oz). Im a 22 year old head and dont have the money for the food, but Id take a friend out here to have a good converstaion. A teacher took us here during my high school days and met the owner, Roger. Anytime you come in there is new beer and it seems he is "searching for the sound" in terms of beer. The dead my be touring, but Ive found family in the New Albanian. How about a $5 growler refill day like BBC does? 8.50 is too much too keep a bunch of beer at home, but one or two is pretty sweet. The food looks good, Id love to eat here.

The unfortunate situation that my job often places me in is requiring me to interact with businesses I like, not as a customer, but as someone wishing to work with them. Usually this isnt an issue, and often results in me making friends and customers. I quite enjoyed NABCs beer the couple of times I had it, and my interactions with their wait staff were friendly, even when I was on business. However, their operations manager Stacy was incredibly terse and unpleasant, and, frankly, acted very impolitely to me personally. I dont support businesses that dont treat everyone as if they were a customer. I will no longer be patronizing NABC as a result.

NABC is a staple of the southern Indiana beer lovers. The beers are reasonably priced and they typically have something on tap that is approachable to those who arent as interested in craft beer. They also have an impressive bottled beer selection as well as several guest taps. The menu consists mainly of pizza, calzones, bread sticks and Italian sandwiches. The beer cheese is one of personal favorites and I usually grab extra to drizzle on the pizza. Im also a big fan of the wait staff. With rare exception, the service is fast and attentive. I also enjoy that in all of the years I have been going here, a lot of the wait staff is still there.

I have never been anywhere I like as much as Richos. That being said, I would highly recommend any New Albanian location. At Richos there is great food, an excellent beer selection and good service. Lots of good food, but in my opinion the pizza and breadsticks are the best. There is a huge bottled beer selection. But more importantly, there is an amazing draught selection. I would recommend the house drafts first, but the guest draft list is always great too. If you love beer and get a chance, you absolutely have to stop by.

This review will probably go up a star with more visits. But for now, just 3. Facilities seemed well-kept. Staff were helpful and competent. Theme is enjoyable. The house-brewed porter was solid. The food was... good, but honestly didnt match expectations for the price they were asking. Im definitely not gonna write this one off without another visit or two, though. And so far I havent found any better alternatives when you want a pizza and a beer. So I mean points just for that, right?

NABC is rightly considered one of the treasures of Southern Indiana. Their own beers are widely varied and top quality, and they carry a wonderful selection of guest taps and bottles as well. Dont pass up any of the pizzas on offer. The setting is as unpretentious as they come and the service is always friendly - infrequent, and very minor, inefficiencies do pop up but are never anything worth complaining about. This is a place to go with friends or family and spend a good deal of time.
