Impression: Irish pub with all the Irish things you would picture in your mind. The decor is pub style with large, dark wooden structures and a large assortment of irish beers. Its on a nice corner location with windows so you can gauge if you will be able to get a table or not. Pros: The food is well priced and appropriately portioned, if not largely portioned. I usually have some to take back home for a small lunch the next day. They have good beers and the service is fast. I have literally been able to be in and out (sit down dining) within 30 minutes... maybe even 20 minutes. The seating area is close but not too squishy. There are tables that can accommodate larger groups of about 10-12 patrons. One of my favorite foods here is the soda bread appetizer, I get it every time. Cons: Sometimes the servers are not quite on point, however, they are definitely trying and are always nice. Just might have to ask for silverware. Conclusion: Casual Irish restaurant that you can either eat quickly at or drink slowly. Everything is reasonably priced in my opinion though some people have said its expensive (obviously I relatively disagree). Periodically there is a band that plays there as well. I have not been there for the nightlife but I definitely hear it when I walk by and its usually lively. Great for: small groups, groups up to 10-12 people, casual dining, drinking with a few friends, good bar drinking location on Mass Ave

Was here the other night to see Highland Reign, and will definitely be back. We had a large group (10 people), and it was a busy night in the bar, but the service was great. Our server was on top of all our food and drink needs despite being pulled every which way. Bonus points to the bartender who saw me in my Blackhawks jersey and made sure I had a tv in view with the game on. Great atmosphere all around, and the band rocked it. Looking at the menu, I thought the food was a little pricey ($17.95 for the fish & chips), but then I saw the portion sizes. I cant believe I finished the meal. Typical prices for drinks. Their Nine Brothers Red was a really nice beer. Great flavor and not too heavy. Highly recommend. Overall, really enjoyed our night here. Will definitely start going here instead of the downtown Claddagh.

Consistently Great. Traditional Irish fare. Thus time I brought my parents and had (of course) the Corned Beef and Cabbage. A heaping mound of brisket with white cheddar mash and perfectly cooked cabbage with a slight crisp. The Corned Beef is seasoned "just right" and not too salty as most restaurants overdue. My Mother had the fish tacos which were quite delicious as well. The only thing I would change is the sauce on the tacos. It was a typical sweet Asian style which I wish had been more of an Irish inspired sauce. Overall, they always get a 5 for not only service but food and atmosphere. (My parents are in their 70s and enjoyed the experience also)

You havent lived if you havent been to 9irish. The fish n chips? Best in Indiana. The Irish margarita? Blow your mind tasty. The Peoples 9Irish red? Made especially for this place and fantastic at that. The Irish peppercorn steak or the chicken Connemara? They will change your life. This place is something special: awesome live music (look for Highland Reign!), Great food, chill atmosphere, great food, and great drinks. Ive gone here for first dates, 300th dates, dinner at the bar, birthdays, and work Christmas parties. Ive never had a bad experience at this place, and neither will you!

Im really not impressed with the lack of authentic Irish fare in Indianapolis. This food tastes good. Its prepared right. *Sigh* The irish breakfast though....... Really? Its so pretensious and its not even irish. Wheres the beans? Wheres the potato bread? Wheres the little tomato lightly grilled on the side? I guess for now I will be making breakfast on sunday with traditional Irish Breakfast with expensive crap I have to order online. I miss it. Let me know if you ever decide to make a real breakfast. We will be there a few times a month at least.

Decided to go here for my birthday yesterday and it was a pretty bad experience. We ordered the "Pots of Gold" potato skins and the potato was cold and the cheese wasnt even melted. We then ordered Bangers and Mash and Fish and Chips. The quality of fish was poor and the chips were horribly over-salted, you could tell the chef didnt even taste the food. The sausages were OK, but had bits of gristle in it and the mashed potatoes were over-salted as well. For as expensive as this place is, you would expect higher quality.

I enjoyed my first visit to Nine Irish Brothers. The food was great. The staff was very friendly and courtese and also on point. My servers Dustin and Katie were awesome. They both made sure my food was to my request and they made sure I had my food in a timely manner.I am planning on a ladies day and will be bringing my friends back to Nine Irish Brothers for lunch. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My experience took place at the Mass. Ave. location.

The best pub Ive been to in Indy by far! Great location to attract a great crowd. The live interactive bands seal the deal for having a memorable night with friends. And, Ive even seen one of the nine brothers dance a jig on the bar and then he personally went around and made sure every patron was having a good time.

Chain Irish Pub, with good pub food. Make sure you get the pub chips as a side, as theyre excellent. Plenty of Irish beer on tap, including some interesting combinations of Guinness (my favorite being the Black Fog: Guinness with a drizzle of Chambord liqueur). Theres also usually live music.

Great atmosphere, great food. Good prices and a friendly staff. Saturdays have live music that is wonderful, and it is just an overall fun place to go. Only complaint I have is parking is rough. That is not really a restaurant problem as much as it is a side effect of being on Mass Ave.

Ive been to this restaurant a number of times since my Purdue buddies have a soft spot for it. That said, Ive never been particularly impressed with the food here. My latest visit was especially bad, with many of the dishes my party ordered coming out late and incorrectly cooked.

This is a great place to grab lunch. The atmosphere is nice and light. The music is (usually) good. The servers are always attentive and friendly. The food is fantastic, and there are enough options to bring you back multiple times before you try everything they offer.

A favorite while I was attending Purdue. Jerry and Jan have done just as good a job creating the same environment here in Indy. Great good and great service. You certainly wont go home hungry (most people order half portions).
