Ive known this family since 2004 and they are wonderful people. This is restaurant is the best and only Chinese restaurant one should visit in the Madison area. When ordering Chinese, I only order from here. At times, I do eat at the restaurant and for those who may not be accustomed to culture outside of the US - they are a typical hard working Chinese family where everyone is involved. It is the way it is - enjoy the food - dont be in a rush - and eat! If it is take out - they will have it ready for you to pick up when you get there. Ive traveled all over and I find this family owned restaurant to be one of two top choices I go to in Madison when eating out! Top of the line!!!

Ordered pork lo mein, service was fast, too fast. Way too much soy sauce was used to cook this dish in an effort to mask the poor quality pork that was used. A total disappointment and by far the worst chinese food in town. This is not the first time I had eaten there, but quality and taste has dropped each time, it is however the last.

Hong Kong Kitchen offers the best chinese food in Madison. All food is cooked to order. Most places make soups in large batches and use it all day long. At HKK they make your soup when you order it. It is always fresh and hot. I eat there at least once or twice a week. I have never had a bad meal and the service is excellent.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a little boy. Their staff has the "treat-you-like-family" attitude. The food tastes like it was shipped directly from China. The cooks are so fast, it seems like there is no wait time. The prices are just right for the quality of the food. Very hot, very tasty, very authentic.

Hong Kong Kitchen easily serves the best Chinese food in Madison. Dont bother spending time or money at any other Chinese place in town. The Zhangs who own it are are very kind and attentive, and will cook you some of the best Asian cuisine youll ever try.

If you want to have a plethora of choices in Chinese food this is the place to be. Any dish you try, you will love every bit of it. Its like a blast of flavors to your senses. And yes if you can handle try the Spicy Mustard sauce, I dare you! :P

Expensive and just OK. Ordered mop go gai pan, pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, and 3 egg rolls. Cost over $30 and the food wasnt that great. We usually always get good food, but this time around we were not happy.

This place has the best Chinese food in town. This isnt a huge surprise since most other Chinese restaurants are buffets and this one isnt. If you go, make sure you get some fried donuts. Absolutely wonderful.
