These positive reviews were obviously written by family members of or the owners themselves. Except of course for the one that was accurate. It seemed to start out OK. Tea cups already on the table, lazy susan, slightly dingey environment. But it quickly turned into one of the worst gastronomic experiences of our lives. It was by far the worst chinese food we have EVER had. The egg drop soup looked ok, but looks can be deceiving. It was tepid in temperature, bland and had a weird smell and aftertaste. My father asked for fried noodles for the soup. They must have broken open a can of Chun King noodles because they looked and tasted exactly the same. Mom had "gummy" won ton soup. Next came out greasy, over cooked eggrolls. The stuffing lacked any texture and seemed to have been piped in through a dirty funnel. I could not eat it at all. The duck sauce tasted somewhat like the real thing, but had the color that would be more appropriate on a match box hot rod. The egg rolls were followed by roast pork lo mein, mongolian beef, peking chicken, shrimp kow, and lychee duck. Oh where to begin? The mongolian beef was comprised of tough pieces of beef covered in an overly spicy but not familiar tasting brown sauce. The roast pork lo mein had huge pieces of fatty roast pork that almost required a steak knife to cut into small enough slices to fit in a normal persons mouth. The sauce had a strange smell also and the same after taste that is evasive yet persistant. The peking chicken was supposed to be fried breast of chicken in a light brown sauce over vegetables. As my mom said, it "tasted like really bad country fried chicken steak covered with really bad gravy." My father described the shrimp kow as "not awful", but he had picked out only the shrimp. Finally, the the lychee duck, which was described as lightly fried deboned duck breast. My brother-in-law was the only one who ventured to eat it. He described it as fried pureed duck drowned in sweet and sour sauce. Only the tea was good, but upon hindsight turned out to be a bait and switch. When the waitress asked if we wanted to box the large amount of food still sitting in the serving dishes there was a resounding and unanimous "NO." So, dont believe a word of the previously mentioned good reviews. We did manage to salvage the evening by rushing to Dairy Queen.

I spent $12.08 cents for two small containers of wonton soup that had huge wontons and very little soup and for four eggrolls that were less than mediocre at best only to find I cant eat my soup cause theres not any type of eating utensils in the bag what so ever... I called to complain and the lady said that she was sorry and they only give utensils upon request cause as she said, "Normal people home and eat their food once they pick it up!!".. Needless to say this overpriced restaurant will never get my business ever again!!!!... (The only reason this is getting one star is because it wouldnt let me post with no stars)...

Me and my friend went to this restaurant bases on these awesome reviews and we hated it!! The only reason we finished eating was because we had already ordered it and we were starving! Believe when I tell you we paid for it, 3 of us left the restaurant feeling sick rather than satisfied. We will NEVER go there again, nor will we recommend this establishment to anyone. Best Chinese Restaurant in Frankfort?? I know it is definitely NOT now and if this is the best than I dont think Ill ever eat chinese again...

Everything here is amazing. I had the crab rangoon, wonton soup, sesame chicken, fried rice, and an egg roll. Its hard to pick a favorite from that meal. The soup and fried rice made use of their barbeque ribs, and the egg roll had what seemed like a Pad Thai peanut sauce in it. While some of the changes werent exactly the "standard" Chinese food taste, they were very, very good. Also, the bathrooms are INCREDIBLY clean. I dont think Ive ever seen a public bathroom look that nice.

Hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered to go. The chicken was dry and overcooked and figuratively swimming in a sweet not at all hot sauce. The few vegetables in the sauce seemed old. I ate a few bites and tried the rice. The fried rice looked and smelled horrid. I can only explain as mealy. I took one bite and spit it out. I ate a few of the crab rangoon but at that point my stomach wouldnt stop churning so just tossed out all out.

This is my favorite oriental restaurant anywhere and I have tried them all across the country. I used to eat lunch there nearly every day. I moved out of state but go there any time I get back in the Frankfort area. They still hand roll their egg rolls and have to die for home made wonton soup. The previous commentor must have it confused with one of the premade frozen food chinese restaurants in town.

Easily the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. I have considered China Wok to be my favorite restaurant for the past 15 years, and others I have tried do not even come close to the quality of food they produce. Although I do not live in Frankfort, I make it a point to stop by any time I am passing through.

My boyfriend has been coming here for so long that the name of his dish has changed and its always been amazing. Im not a fan of chinese food but this place definitely changed that, the eggrolls are amazing. i love being able to walk in and not need to order because they already know what we get.

Had an experience once that merited 5 stars. But this last time sealed the fact I will never return. Must be a new cook or new recipes. But the food reminded me of leftover re-heated frozen food, plus it was very greasy. I hope they get their original cook back.

By far my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant, period! I eat here several times a week, and the food is always amazing! You definitely get your moneys worth, and the food is piping hot, made fresh to order. Family owned, it is a staple in Frankfort. And rightfully so!

Everything was below average of just outright bad. Egg rolls are too sweet, like it has peanuts in them or something .Wonton soup just has a weird texture. I travel for my job and Ive tried many different Chinese restaurants and this one is by far the worst.

A great little Chinese restaurant that has been around for ages. Not a buffet. Sit in our carry out. If you like and can eat shrimp, try the China wok fried rice. Its the best. But then again, so is all their food.

Best Chinese restaurant in Frankfort. Much better than the buffets. I question the bad reviews. The food and service has always been good and Ive been going there for over 20 years.
