Im so angry that Im still eating the food we just got from here as I sit here and write this review. Im shocked that Gui Lin has 5 star reviews. Maybe by children who havent tasted better Chinese food? I also would not be surprised if theyre fake. First of all, my boyfriend called his order over the phone and asked for the General Tsos chicken and a side of fried rice. Since it was past 7:30, we both thought it would be implied that his order was from the dinner menu. The person on the phone also never asked whether he would want a pint-sized or quart-sized rice. When he got to the restaurant, he was charged the "Special" General Tsos chicken, which was 4 dollars more, and he was given the quart of fried rice, not the pint-size, even though hed asked for a side!! When he complained, the woman at the front said that she had already made the food and he couldnt change his order, as she grabbed his card from his hand before he could even change his mind. We will NEVER come again. NOT ONLY was the service terrible, but when we got our food, some of the carrots in the fried rice were clear, the peas were white, and the broccoli was crunchy and under-cooked. The food was also not nearly as flavorful as other Chinese weve had. It was acceptable but absolutely not worth the money. We both felt like we could have made the dishes we had ourselves, and neither of us are cooks. We will never ever go back.

My wife and I have eaten in just about every Chinese restaurant in the Ann Arbor/Saline area and we consider Gui Lin to be our all-around favorite. The dine-in atmosphere is OK, but since we live nearby its always take-out for us. The vegetables are always fresh and cooked just right, portions are good-sized, and they always have our food ready within 15 minutes of calling. Of the 3 Chinese restaurants in Saline, Id recommend Gui Lin hands down.

This is the best Chinese in Saline! My dad wont eat anywhere else because it is too good. Personally, Ive had great experiences here and the food is always tasty and satisfying. If you eat in, you are most likely to be served by one of their daughters since it is a family business. Try the General Tsos Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken as well as the Hibachi Chicken. The sauce is to die for! The meat buns are really good as well.

Why on earth would anyone give this place 4 stars!! I ate there last night I had the seafood delight something about seemed a little off well hours later I started feeling sick and for the rest of the night I alternated between vomiting and diarrhea and all I could taste was that nasty food I was served,never never ever eating there again and if your wise you wont try it even once 4 stars my ass!

Food came out fresh and hot, flavor even in the wonton shell as well as in the sauce. Even the family-owners have very mannerly children who give out better service and happy smiles better than many waitresses seen at an applebees. Coming back just to give back to a hard working family with a great family restaurant. Yum :)

Ive had a lot of bad Chinese food in my days, so I always am a bit apprehensive about trying new Chinese restaurants. Thankfully, Gui Lin is excellent Chinese food for the price. The service is very quick, the food is fresh, and the staff is very friendly. This is the best Chinese restaurant in SE Michigan for the price.

Lyza get over your prissy self. This chinese food is amazing compared to the other restaurants around this area. This family works really hard and are genuinely very nice. They literally have all hands on deck helping out. Lazy Lyza you are so annoying...it goes both ways, a costumer should specify what size they want.

If youve ever had good chinese, dont eat here. The food was not worth the money. On top of that, their online ordering needs some updating. Make sure you get your card number right because it wont tell you if its wrong and the order will go through anyway. Found this out first hand and it was very irritating.

If youre looking for a favorite Chinese take-out or sit-in restaurant, Gui Lin is a great fit. The prices are reasonable for the portions and the food is fresh and not overpowering in taste. Service is quick and friendly, and ordering over the phone is easy.

The food was at best, so-so. At worst almost inedible. The dishes that use fried chicken I had were passable, but the fried rice was horrendous. Ive tried 3 different dishes, and none of them were great. Ill be trying other places soon.

The food is on par with what youd expect from a Chinese restaurant in the $8-$11 meal range, however it seems that their fried dumplings are homemade and quite exceptional.
