I may change this review in the future, especially considering how courteous and helpful the manager was when I called to complain. The chicken was cooked just fine, not overly greasy (duh... its going to be a little greasy at least, its deep fried!), but the 8 piece we ordered was 1 breast, 2 thighs, 2 legs and 3 wings. How do you replace a breast with a wing exactly? If they were low on breasts wed have gladly taken a thigh in its place. It was BEFORE lunch time rush though, so anyone who has worked in food service knows you are stocked up before the rush. Anyhow, the macaroni and cheese we ordered could have easily been consumed by someone who can not eat solid food. My husband ordered a small container of cajun rice and received the small container only about half full, if that- AND it tasted aweful. The manager told us we could bring our check in for a replacement meal, at our convenience.

When we went it employees said 20 minute wait on chicken, thats cool, we werent in a huge rush. We walked up to order and another employee decided to order right as we had started telling the dude our order. He switched from our to hers, had to get manager, and it took several minutes of us standing there awkwardly. They were out of napkins because their truck was slow. One employee spent about an hour cleaning the lobby. We got our food eventually and instead of Mac and cheese we got smashed potatoes, they swapped it out no problem. Food was decent, and tasty as any Popeyes. This location is right off of 65, which was why we were there. As far as interstate exit food, not bad but not the best either.

The absolute worst location ever. Not only do they never have food, they always mess up a order. How hard is it to put chicken in a box as well as how hard is it to keep chicken cooked? The management does not know how to manage and the staff have no manners or concept of how to be professional. This place needs to hire new people and start over immediately. I went in two weeks ago and the cook couldnt remember how long the chicken had been cooking. He had set the wrong timer, the manager tells him just cook it a little bit longer. No he should have thrown it all the way and started all over since he did not know how long does chicken have been cooking.

Third time ordering at the drive through and the 3rd time they have gotten my order wrong. By the time you get where you are going and open the box, its too late to go back. This is why I will never go to this location again. Chicken tenders tasted like he kind of chicken they inject water into to make the strips bigger. Rubbery.

Great chicken but horrible service. Dont go in unless you have 20 plus minutes to wait while the crew messes around instead of making your order. If youre white, be prepared to have every black person in the restaurant served before you, even if you came in 10 to 15 minutes before them, happens every time

Worst Popeyes restaurant ever! They are always out of condiments like honey. They are always out of special sauces for limited time menu items. They are even out of chicken sometimes. They are the laziest crew I have ever seen. I am not going back there again. This one absolutely sucks, feathers and all!

Clean, fast, and really good. Always hot and moist, not dried out at all. The place is really busy so the clerks arent really chatty, but theyre polite and accurate. Lots of staff, senior managers around all the time, the place is professional, clean, with good clientele. Great location right off of 465.

Very disappointed in the amount of slaw you get. When we open the container it was only half full...charge over $2 for half a pint. Seems like everytime we go to the one in Lawerence the sides get smaller portions. I think i just might go back to Churches Chicken at least u get full portions.

Horrible. Last time I was here, the food was cold, rice was disgusting and undercooked. This visit, I was rushed to order and they had an attitude. Every time I go through drive through, the workers and glaring into my vehicle as if to see who all is in my car.

Very slow service. They we nice, friendly and the food was tasty. But we waited for over 30 min in the drive through. She said they get slammed every night like that. Then I say put more workers on at that time. Poor management decision.

Every time I have ever been to this location Ive had nothing but horrible service. With the way these employees treat customers I honestly cant believe they are even getting paid. So disgusting and ghetto. Clean up the trash.

Was in there so long I froze and my ears are irritated. Greasy but hot chicken and leg tasted off either raw or tainted.. One old cold busicut and one fresh. They do too much moping around. Thats what makes the slow slower.

Drive thru staff is often rude and does not check items before handing them out, but once inside you a greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. In other words ALWAYS go in for best service.

This location is by far the best Popeyes in Indianapolis. The service is good. The people are friendly and the food is always good. At times there may be a short wait, but its always worth it.

Chicken is always good. I usually skip the drive thru and go in, just seems to go faster that way. Staff is friendly enough, they dont usually smile very much but service is fast.
