Good lunch spot. Diner food. I have been a regular lunch patron for 2 1/2 years. A calm place to relax during lunch. Local owned & operated. Typical diner servers. Quirky, friendly, busy. Ask about any specials and they wont tell you. Ask or insist for the small blue card that shows the specials, which is missing from some of the inserts on the tables. The best bet on the card is a big turkey SANDWICH which comes made with homemade bread and chips, bowl of homemade CHILI & a DRINK for $6.99. Other good favorites: roast, meatloaf & of course the french toast. Negative: French fries are awful. You can eat a hamburger anywhere, please try one of the items I mentioned. Sometimes you have to speak up for a refill or follow up service.

Best french toast around! Homeade texas style-sized slices and your choice of white or wheat. I recommend the whole wheat; you are getting more grains in your serving therefore more flavorful and nutritious. Friendly staff and quick, efficient service. A Nice Restaurant becomes like visiting your grandmas kitchen for breakfast :)

A perfect home cooking restaurant. They make their own bread. The staff are always happy and helping. Prices are perfect. The Jeffersonville one is better than the New Albany one. I found out today the Jeff location is not owned by the New Albany owner. New Albany has ride staff and the prices are higher.

The only place Ive wanted to spit out bacon. The potatoes we ordered at breakfast were terrible and I saw why when we were paying on our way out.. they had cooked alot of them and hand them pushed into the corner on the stove for whenever someone ordered them.. just lazy. and the bacon...

Didnt even want to give one star. The food was horrible, took family from it of town and I was embarrassed. Paid $23 for 2 meals, that we didnt even eat! The food tasted old and undercooked. When i complained they had a bad attitude and didnt fix it.
