Wow, this is a gem, our family has been going to Kansai and Tomo for sushi and I do love them, especially for ordering grill items side by side with sushi, but this place was very impressive for strictly sushi and related items, they cover all the sushi basics, got salads and miso (no broth), raw and cooked appetizers, nigiri and sashimi, beer and sake, and oh oh oh my, the special rolls! the Green roll and Osaka roll were quite amazing! The staff was very friendly. Were coming back next week for my sons 10th birthday, his choice. Our bill came in a little under 100 for 4 of us, but we were kind of being pigs. If you like sushi you should try them

This is one of the nicest places to enjoy sushi in the area. It is small. It is quite. It has a relaxing atmosphere. It has friendly service. But more importantly I want to stress the quality of the food. The sushi is absolutely delicious. Star sushi has spoiled me. It annoys me when I go to other places and order sushi and it is mediocre. Which is most of the time. Star sushi keeps me coming back for more because its delicious and reasonably priced.

This location is a great sushi restaurant. It is priced very reasonably and the quality is very high (freshness and presentation). The restaurant area is very clean and there is enough space between table so as not to feel cramped. We also like to stop and get a to-go order and enjoy as an appetizer with a home cooked meal.

Pinot grigio is very good not too expensive house salad is very good only 2 dollars. Sake is a little expensive 20 dollars for large about 9 for small, overall food is very good. Small place, personalable waiters and waitresses. Thank you Star Sushi for bringing life back in to the sushi world

I come here at the very least once a week. Extremely clean, amazing service, and the atmosphere is among the most calming and peaceful Ive seen even when the place is busy. Ive already gotten several people hooked on it and will continue to dine here weekly. The Crunch Munch roll is the best.

Im kind of a sushi snob, and this place makes the cut. Rolls are good, nothing fancy, but I sure havent had a bad one yet. Wish they would get some Mochi for dessert option though. I highly recommend the Winter Roll, mainly because Im a coconut fanatic. Prices are fair as well.

This is mine and my boyfriends favorite place to go too. Food is always excellent along with great service. It is always very laid back and calming. And my all time favorite is the crunch munch roll it is a must try for everyone!! Great prices for everything as well!

Back again. I wish this restaurant was in my home city. The food is always fabulous, the service very attentive, excellent wine selection and they always seem to find away to get us in during our convention in town. Not much more to say than highly recommended.

most sushi places I go I have a favorite roll. its impossible to have that here! everything I have had their is outstanding, not to mention the service has been impeccable! the waiter their named "biggie" is awesome! I would highly recommend this place

I love this place, they always have delicious rolls at a reasonable price. Great selection of sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. The service has gone downhill a bit lately; servers often never come back to check on you, especially at the sushi bar.

Amazing! I have been to afraid to try any other Sushi other than Kansai. Today I walked over from work to try Star Sushi. Let me tell you, YUM YUM rolls were fabulous. And the miso soup was delicious. Great service. Excellent price as well!

Portions are large and very tasty! Prices are very reasonable. The ingredients were very fresh. We had a group of 11 people and the staff was very accommodating. This is one of the best sushi restaurants in the Louisville metro are.

The sushi here is always great. Its relaxing and friendly here. The hours are strange and I find it closed a lot when I stop by and they open back up in a few hours. I just wish they would fill in the gap. Im glad its here though.

This is hands down the best sushi in southern Indiana, the enitre lower half of the state! And probably the best in the Louisville metro area! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rolls are unique and delicious.
