I searched for Mexican restaurants in the area with good ratings, and this popped up. Having not been there before, we hopped in the car and headed out. When we walked in, we were very happy with the decor, and the hostess was very nice. We were seated promptly and the waitress was very quick to bring us chips and what I considered a very good salsa. I loved the touch of spice and cilantro. We ordered the Guadalajara and Fiesta Trio Fajitas, and with a short wait, our food promptly arrived. So far, were on the way to a 5 star rating... Right? The cheese enchilada was made with a yellow cheddar instead of white? Odd... How did it taste? Like a ball of grease and oil. Before I describe my dish, Ill preface this by saying that Ive lived in Panama & Spain, Ive traveled to Mexico, Honduras, Peru, and Bolivia. Ive eaten Latin dishes all over Europe and the US. My fajita dish was hot, but the chicken was stark white and dry, like it has been cooked in a microwave, the shrimp had barbeque sauce on them, and the steak was flavorless. There was broccoli and carrot tossed in, with a little onion (improperly sauteed), and no peppers. It was undoubtedly, the worst Mexi-Asian stir-fried fajitas Ive ever had. I wish I would have had Taco Bell... It may not be real Mexican fajitas, but it would have blown this out of the water...

Went during the day, couldnt get a refill and the rice tasted like it was some sort out of a box from Walmart. Girlfriend ordered a nacho dish as her entree and got four taco shells split down the middle as the chips. Cheese was melted cheddar. Horrible. Must have different night staff if some of these reviews are true.

Love the decor! HATE the lack of staff. Took forever to get a water refill. The rice and the potatoes are food but I had a shredded beef burrito and it was revolting. Server acted like she was brand new. Music is modern, annoying and loud. Ill be going to La hacienda vieja in Pendleton from now on.

Mi Tenampa is nothing like all those bland, Americanized mexican restaurants you find all over town. This is great food prepared by a real chef and served by some of the friendliest, most attentive servers I have experienced in a casual dining setting.

This is one of my has been in my favorite place to eat. The food is fantastic Mexican authentic food. And the staff is always nice and friendly the restaurant is a clean fun place. The owners are always friendly and come up to you and greet you as well

Honestly the best Mexican restaurant this side of Indy! Tamales are amazing, the avocado enchilada is to die for. GREAT service and a Chef who honestly cares about his dishes. Worth the drive every time! Try it and see, take my word on it!

Food was terrible. Taco Bell has more flavor and quality. Pretty sure it was uncle Bens rice and nacho cheese on our burrito. Tastes like it was cooked in the microwave and service was slow. Chips and salsa best thing about the place

Stopped for lunch there today. First visit. Best chimichanga Ive had in Mexican restaurants in Indiana. Loved the pureed papas too. Hubby had fish tacos which he also liked. Well definitely be going back.

Was in the neighborhood thought we would try it for lunch. The service was good,. Chips and guacamole was were good. But that was about it. The food was edible but lack any flavor. Have had better.

Theyre food is excellent... But.. they charged me $3.00 for 2 tiny slices of Avocado. And I come here 2 to 3 times a month. Again the food is excellent but sometimes the portions are crazy.

Best Chips I ever had is what my friend said, and this was my lunch. It was perfect! Veggies and shrimp were cooked perfectly, and hot! The white queso is amazing poured over the top!

Good chips, good salsa. Delicious burritoes, with giant margaritas that arent that expensive. They also have papas that are like Mexican mashed potatoes with cheese that are amazing.
