I am reporting unethical behavior by a Franchisee. I ordered a Recess Blizzard Cake online three days in advance of when it was to be picked up. I was personally unable to pick up the cake, so I had my sister do so for me. When I finally saw the cake I was disappointed (the pictures are below), the cake looked nothing like the photo online. When I called the store manager (named Haley) to express my dissatisfaction, she stated, "The cake looks like it does online." I went on to explain that it looks nothing like the online picture and that it looked awful, so much so that I wanted a replacement cake or a full refund for the uneaten cake. Haley went on to tell me that she was unable to process a refund for the cake without the owners permission since it was a Blizzard cake. I asked her to call the owner and get back to me. When I spoke back to Haley, she informed me that the owner said if I returned the cake I could only have a $5 refund for an uneaten cake that cost me $34.99 or I could go back to the store across town and they would add some decorations to the cake I already purchased. I found the answer from the owner to be incredulous. When I asked for the number to call the owner myself, she stated that she was unable to provide his personal information (which I can understand). So I then asked if she could call him while I was on the phone to which she stated, "no." Then I asked if she could call him on the store phone upon me returning the uneaten cake, so he could tell me why I could not have a full refund for an uneaten and untouched cake. To this, she replied that it would be unprofessional for her to call the owner while I was in the store. The reason I am posting this is that I feel this is fraud, that you would take my money and give me a sub par product and when I offer to return it untouched for a full refund the owner says, "no" with no further explanation why.

Would give 0 starts if I could, twice went there with an egiftcard which is used exactly like a normal gift card, just that its printed out with the number. At first they tried claiming they dont take egiftcard because they arent set up for it. Asked them if they take normal gift cards and had to show them on the printed sheet that it even states to use it like a normal gift card. Then she takes the gift card to the back, and comes back saying they cant process it at their location. Called the support line after I left, and they stated thats not true, and that they will send someone out their to give this location PROPER TRAINING because of their incompetence.

I visited this Dairy Queen today and obviously things havent changed! We waited 10 minutes in the drive-thru for two medium blizzards and the total cost was almost $9! The first blizzard had the wrong toppings and the second didnt have any topping! We tried to ask the teenage staff to fix our order and after another 15 minutes drove off unsuccessful. Try the Dairy Queen near Sherman & English they are owned by different people. Great service, great ice cream and lower prices are only a five minute drive away!!!

I went to this Dairy Queen today and waited in the drive through for over 15 minutes for my food. After I recieved it they had added mayonnaise to my sandwich, which I specifically asked them twice not to while ordering. I sent it back..and they gave me a new bun but still the same chicken and tomato which had mayonnaise on it still. There were a bunch of high school kids goofing around and laughing, and honestly they couldnt have cared less. Very poor quality Dairy Queen. I would not recommend.

These people are a joke! I had to give my order five times. I got to the window and they told me I ordered something I didnt and told me I would have to pay extra for what I ordered from the start. I told them to just give me my money back. This place is trash and the bottom of the barrel people are making your food. They will be out of business very soon. Do yourself a favor, go to Steak and Shake or one of your other favorites. This place is not worth a thought.

Gave me one of those famous Royal Treats with what tasted like spoiled ingredients. It was completely full mind you and I was still there when I brought it to their attention.I didnt drag in a hour later with a half filled container. They told me it was basically my problem and they wouldnt replace it. Wonder how they will replace the money I spend there?

I dont know if it was just a good day, or time or there was new staff. But when I visited this Dairy Queen, I purchased a few kids meals. They did not in any way screw my order up. The workers were modest at best. Typical restaraunt employee behavior. All the kids said the food was fine. So i had a good experience at this Dairy Queen

Decided to splurge today and get a chocolate malt. This one was terrible. Dairy Queen chocolate malts have always been thick and malty. Todays was chocolate syrup badly mixed with cold milk. There was a small faint taste of malt, but not like a malt should be. No ice cream presence- just cold milk. I got ripped off!

I never get mad in the drive through. Someone forgets my food, Im gonna drive away and deal with it. I went to this dq 2 times in 2 weeks. Both times, same lady was very rude and disrespectful. I just couldnt help but drive off. Why have someone who hates there job work there. No respect for anyone.

The food is always good, but I often have to wait a bit for my order. The employees often seem stressed out. Once, after finishing corresponding with a fast food order, the cashier up front turned to me and said, "This guys a piece of work..." Not very professional, in my opinion.

Their dining room closes at 845pm in the summer and they wont take any walk up customers after this time. Do you want my money or not? -Sincerely neighborhood ice cream enthusiast that just wants to walk to get my ice cream.

We go to this DQ more than Id like to admit. The Blizzards are always chocked full of toppings and the food is always fresh. The employees are incredibly nice. The place is always clean. I would never go to another DQ.

I dont come here all that often but any time I do the young people who work here are always incredibly nice and friendly. Ive never had a problem with my food, when I get it, but I mainly come here for ice cream.
