This has to be one of the best places to eat in Indiana, and possibly the Midwest. I had their Bacon Swiss Burger (Earnest Ts or something) today, and the only way it could have possibly been any better would be if it had a slice of tomato, which Im sure they would have provided if I had only asked. My wife had Aunt Bees fried chicken, which is nothing short of awesome. We have ate at the Mayberry Cafe many times, and they never disappoint. Ive had almost everything on the menu and loved it all. Desert is outstanding too. Its a little pricey, but well worth the money.

Wholesome good folks vibe coming from this cafe. Feels as though youve gone to your grandmas home for dinner and shes having additional company coming over to join you. A continuous loop of the Andy Griffith Show is playing on multiple tvs throughout the restaurant, which Im sure the waitress have to be able to block out if not go crazy from. The staff is nice and attentive. Great chicken wings and catfish for the price. Although Mayberry is set in North Carolina, this ode to a fictional town fits perfectly in the town of Danville, IN. We will be back for seconds...

Excellent middle America comfort food in a curated small town setting featuring decorations and TVs showing classic episodes of the Andy Griffith Show. The entire menu is recommended. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try the upstairs seating. Dont forget to take a picture with the squad car straight from the show, parked out front. Parking can be found along the one way streets surrounding the restaurant (avoid parking around the court house across the street, its metered).

Other than the pretend nostalgia, this place really doesnt have much going for it. Most of the menu is frozen, drop in the fryer and serve type stuff. Overpriced too. Save some money...go to GFS and get some shopped/pressed frozen pork fritters & frozen fries and fry them up in your own kitchen...save 95%. Place is kinda cramped, too. I give the owners an "A" for effort, though.

In 2015, this restaurant was rated "The 10 Best Diners in America." I had the appetizer portion of chicken wings and they were perfect and filled me up. I was with a huge group of people and we sat upstairs. The groups meal looked delicious and was served by a personable staff in a historic building that looks like it could be Aunt Beas home.

We have eaten here several times over the past few years and each time we get something, we love it. The fried chicken is excellent as is the fettucine alfredo. The pies are mouthwatering. The ambience transports you back in time when life was good and innocent. Love all the folks from Mayberry, both town and cafe. :)

Its a very comfortable family atmosphere. Every server was wearing a smile. Excellent customer service. The food was delivered in a timely manner while it was still hot and everything was delicious. It was worth the drive from the Irvington area!

The food was very good and reasonably priced for the size of the servings. I ordered the country fried steak special for 7.99 and added an AYCE salad bar for 3.50. The staff was very friendly and informative. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My order came quickly. I Got the special, which was the pot roast, mashed potatoes and green beans. You could cut the pot roast with a fork. It was amazing. Come to Danville, IN, stay for a bite to eat at Mayberry Cafe.

Their food is awesome and it is also a historical restaurant in downtown Danville located right on the square. They have a festival every year with characters portraying the show. I LOVE their breaded mushrooms!

Its just an ok place. The service was a little slow but I guess for the atmosphere it is what it is Mayberry. I had the breaded chicken breast and they were good but a little dry the salad bar was really good

Great place, great food, great waiters and we were from out of state visiting on Sunday and out of the goodness of their heart they performed a personal service for us that was unrelated to the cafe business.

The food here was excellent. The resturant is decorated with photos of the cast of The Andy Griffith Show and there are t.v.s throughout the cafe playing reruns of the show.

Was there (again) this last weekend and as always excellent food. One must have a liking or at least a tolerance for Andy Griffith reruns as they are constantly playing.

Not sure another place I can get fried bluegills. Food is always wonderful. Even if you are not a fan of the show, the staff and food are worth stopping in.

Blah and uninspired food served with an overwhelming amount of dusty nostalgia. Take Grandma or Great aunt Sally, theyll love it. I chose not to go back.
