First let me start off by saying I have dined at Ridgeview at least 5 times and have never had an experience like this.Our service was not up to its usual standard.This waiter rush through taking our order;which was a party of 9.My mother was last to order and asked her a question about a item on the menu and she said let me know when your ready because I have to put the rest of these orders in.She never checked back after the food was brought out as she had done to the rest of her tables and I heard her tell a guest that we split checks.But the sad part was that we we still had to tip her;thats probably why she could care less about the service she provided.Gratuity should not be a given thing it should be earned!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We had been here a few times but we noticed each bill seemed higher than the menu. It turns out, when I spoke to the manager, I was being charged $13 for each sandwich instead of $10 each time I went! The manager was rude and said the menu had "misprints" and the sandwich does not come with lettuce, tomato and sauce (like it says on the menu) but they charge $1 for lettuce, $1 for tomato, and $1 for sauce! She also charged $5 instead of $4.50 for the side salad since she said the dressing is extra! My parents and friends looked at their previous receipts - they had been overcharged A LOT too. DONT EAT HERE - they are not honest!!

Dont ever eat here - I went online, ordered food and was charged $20 higher than the prices online. The manager said there were misprints online and every price is higher. Then, I was charged extra for lettuce and tomato even though the menu says it comes with it. This place is ripping people off and lying. Dont eat here - youll regret it.

My family has been going to Ridgeview for 30+ years. The same family has been running it as long as I can remember. Theyre friendly and the service is just what youd expect from a family diner. The Club Sandwiches are the best around, but I DO have 23 years of bias built up.

A family member who is senior and wheelchair bound, wanted to eat here. We called ahead.During the Saturday lunch rush, they reserved us a spot. We arrived. A table was waiting. The food was wholesome great. All of us felt well cared for. Good service, good food.

A Wilmette Icon! Ive been going here for 30 years, friendly staff, CLEAN, best breakfasts anywhere, especially the Benedicts! Lunch and dinner offerings are wonderful! The cream of chicken with rice soup is a family favorite and a household staple!

The manager here acted very unprofessional and disrespectful when I kindly declined his offer to work here. I can only imagine how he treats the customers and other employers The food may be good, but the service definitely isnt.

Should really close down for a better restaurant. Its horrible. The chicken wings taste like its pre made and frozen for two years. The liver taste like rubber. The burger is dry. The tea is bitter. Nothing is edible.

Ive been coming here with my family for my whole life. Its our go to place when in Kenilworth visiting my grandmother. Staff is friendly and the food is good. Its very busy on Sunday mornings, after church.
