We went to check out this local place as just moved near by and sad to say we were disappointed. It must not have been a busy night, as we were stayed immediately, but our waitress never can to get out drink order as she was busy chatting with coworkers. Finally someone came walking by and asked if we were helped and took our order. The food was only mediocre and nothing to write home about. It was on par with Applebees. The worst part is how inattentive and slow the service is. My wife accidentally knocked over her glass with ice and it took over 5 minutes for someone to even come and they asked if we wanted to clean up the ice, kind of odd. I would not recommend this place, since there are much better options in the area and this place is not worth the cost they charge. Your better off going to a chain somewhere.

I had dinner here last week here while visiting my daughter and son in law who live in the apartments across the street. They had a great selection of beers. Mine was served nice and cold. The had a wide variety of items on the menu and it was hard to choose what to get. We had their nachos for an appetizer and they were nicely presented and tasted great. There were plenty for 3 people to share. We all liked our meals that we ordered and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing and loved the big glass windows for lots of light. I will definitely go back when in town next time!

I have been here three times now because I keep telling myself its not as bad as I remember and Im always wrong. The food, when they get the order right (which so far has only been once of the three times that weve been there), is subpar and over-priced and the service is awful. This last time we were there the waitress never checked on us and the entire table ran out of drinks before we were finished eating. We eventually had to grab a random waiter and ask him to bring us the check because our waitress never came and checked on us once we got our food. Dont eat here, its just a horrible experience.

This place has really grown on me recently. At first I thought it was a nice but nondescript local joint with a good beer selection. But now that Ive been back a few times, Ive realize the food is always on point and the backyard patio is great when the weather is nice. I really enjoy the southwestern wrap and the fries are always tasty. Also, Ive tried the ribs which are pretty good. My wife has the fish and chips. The fish was a little greasy but delicious. All in all, a totally solid place for a casual night on the town!

Fire House Grill may be a little overpriced, but they seriously have the absolute best burgers in the world. The selection of toppings may seem a bit limited, but you just need to trust that they know what theyre doing at Fire House Grill. The thick and juicy burger patty is the star, and the delicious high quality bun plays the main supporting role. Order a milkshake with your burger. Youll be glad you did. The old fire house makes for a really neat atmosphere, but again, its all about the burgers.

Expensive for food quality. My friends are regulars at that place but last time was my third time and was even worst than the last one. Server was not even kind and she throw the bill on the table without saying thanks ... My friend wanted another beer and we even tip her after all cuz the food runner and the buss boy save the nigth 10 points for them.. Shame on the server

This was a good place, but the table was a bit icky and silverware was not readily available. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken salad and the menu specified mixed greens... I expected true mixed greens, not lettuce. The meal would have been more satisfying with a good mixture of leafy greens. Other than that, my family enjoyed their food and experience.

Selected Fire House Grill to celebrate with my family after I graduated from business school, and they were very accommodating of our large group. They have a nice selection of salads, wraps and burgers and the burgers and sandwiches come on a pretzel bun! The decor is really neat, it is a restored historic fire house.

We waited a long time just for the waitress to come to the table (and they werent that busy) for the first time, by which point we were already discussing moving to the bar or going somewhere else. We ordered drinks and food all at once, food was good, but we did not order a 2nd round of drinks.

I just moved to the area and have eaten here quite a few times. Staff make you feel welcome and part of the neighborhood. Burgers are outstanding and always cooked perfectly. Salads are great! They do different specials each night of the week which is great with everyones shrinking pocketbooks.

Cool place on the South Side of Evanston. Decent food & a nice selection of brews. Maybe not my first choice for dining in Evanston, but not the worst place. Food was decent, but took a bit too long to come out. We had a large table & some of us got served over 10 minutes later than others....

Food is pretty basic. More of a simple burger place. Im not sure why people come here, I guess that its mostly undereducated NW students. This place has potential to be a great; but rude staff, marginal food, and poor beer selection make this place the unfortunate scumhole on Chicago Ave.

Dont go there during the day, I am jealous of the deaf as the music here is so terrible I think they assume that this will make me want to drink myself into oblivion. Its not working as I only want to leave. I dont usually judge places on their choice of music, thats just how bad it is.

Ive been here many times. Love the Chili mac. Good food, good atmosphere, good prices, good service. Cant ask for much more. Its not going to knock your socks off, but its all around pretty solid for a quick bite and a beer.

Firehouse was a decent experience. The look and layout of the restaurant were great however the service wasnt welcoming and the food was not the best. The management and servers seemed like they would rather be else where

Went for dinner on a Friday at 7 and it was crowded but luckily we got seated right away. Solid, timely service with a nice patio. Their southwest wrap was really tasty with good heat. Definitely recommend this place.

Very fun place to go and hang out, the beer select has been greatly expanded with 8-10 beers on tap. The food is okay, the burgers are safe and the fish tacos are good, Good atmosphere and nice staff.

It has a great atmosphere, very close to CTA train purple line Main Street stop. Guinness on tap. Excellent burgers! Check theyre menu online for all the other offerings.
