This place is not just a cafe that roasts its own beans and makes its own baked goods everyday. Blair and his short staff strive, in every drink, a perfection of the art of making that which is supplied in a normal cafe. This should be more appropriately named a cafe studio. I just dont understand why there are lines out the door at a Starbucks near by. Quality, effort, and scratch baked goods are dwarfed it seems by speed, quantity, and corporate glam.

My 93 year old father LOVES this coffee shop. He says that the scones and coffee are great. I had a chance to go there when visiting my dad this spring and the atmosphere and the barista were every bit as fabulous as he had described. Going to Alchemy is the highlight of my fathers week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my father feel so special. And the latte I had there was perfect!

The atmosphere is very relaxing and almost "homey". Very reasonably priced unlike most coffee shops and really do pay for what you get. The service is very good, everyone who works there is very friendly. It is the kind of coffee shop you can sit in for hours and just chat. Not to mention, all products are well done and tasty. In addition, it is a very clean shop.

This place has really evolved over the years. Recently they hired a new baker to assist with all kinds of goodies and treats. The coffee is roasted on-site and is phenomenal. Prices are better than starbucks, and the product is infinitely superior. Down side is Alchemy can only seat six people total.

They have delicious hot out of the oven scones, I had one with dates in it and the boys split one with chocolate chips. We sat outside at one of their little table. The boys were entertained by watched the little sparrows eat our crumbs. Perfect start to the weekend.

This place was small, the owner was a bit cold. No wifi because the place is so small I was under the impression they did not want pole to linger. All of this is acceptable because ::THE COFFEE:: was ABSOLUTELY ::THE BEST::. The owner is a master of his trade.

An awesome little place, and one of a kind. Cash only but I still go, which from me says a lot. Best scones Ive ever had, baked fresh daily. Music playing from a reel-to-reel player, owner Blairs taste in music is top-notch.
