We have gone here about once a month for close to a year. The food has always been excellent. The prices are very good for a seafood restaurant, especially considering the high quality of the food and the preparation. Portions are more than enough. Our food has always been served hot and besides tasting great, it also looks great. Perhaps the favorite part of our experience has been Carol, who has become our regular waitress. It feels like she is part of the family. She is funny pleasant and exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu items and the food preparation. What really impressed us (and continues to impress us) occurred during our second visit. Our daughter has certain dietary restrictions. Sometimes eating at a restaurant can be a chore because of all the changes and substitutions that need to be made. During our first visit, she explained these to Carol who helped her put together her food order and made sure it was done correctly. Just as importantly, she did it with a smile. During our second visit more than 3 weeks later, Carol not only remembered us, but remembered every exact detail of our daughters dietary restrictions. We remain very impressed. This has become our "go to" place for a nice fish/seafood dinner.

The food is never disappointing and martinis are next to none but the service is so so? What I always remember is the poor service. To patronize the establishment is painful and is always a fourth consideration restaurant for our family of four. The product is exceptional but the service is worthless. To enjoy the food is to get annoyed by poor service. Takes an arm and a leg to get serve drinks and lets not discuss how long it takes to get food. Once food is served, I cant wait to get the check because the servers are never seen. Oh wow, the hosts and hostesses need attitude adjustments. I cant seem to understand how management hire their front line? This is not just a bad day, (5) experiences! Good food..poor service..= We will spend else where.

Bonefish Grill in Skokie- all I have to say is BANG, BANG!!!! A friend of mine has been telling me about the bang bang shrimp that they have on the menu. Went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and it is quite delicious!!! For entree I had the Imperial Tilapia, which was stuffed with crab meat and scallops....YUM!!! Seasoning was on point. And they have $5 cocktails (and they are not water-down) !!! Note: Happy Hour on Wednesdays I believe, from 4-6pm appetizers are only $5, so worth it for the bang, bang shrimp. Server was great, and a manager came up to us after our meal and gave us a coupon for a free bang, bang shrimp! Good first experience.

This place is the bomb. Me and two friends went here. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer. It was the best shrimp in Illinois. I got the filet mignon for an entree. The steak was cooked too perfection. I also got the broccoli and rice. They were also really good. I tried my friends dishes and they were so good. They ordered the lobster and the tuna. The atmosphere is also really nice. The waitress we had was really nice and funny.

Food was pretty good, but pricey. Temperature of my lamb was a little cold to begin with and I am a slow eater, so it wasnt so appetizing towards the end. May be an isolated incident, but they gave us a buzzer and told us to wait 15 min. After waiting 30, I approached the reservation desk again and she was surprised that I was waiting. She said, "did you make a reservation?" Then, they claimed that their buzzer was not working.

I have to carp about my first trip to Bonefish Grill. My rare white tuna was neither rare nor white. It was dissicated, overcooked until it turned into canned tuna. Appetizer of mussels was good and the pesto dipping sauce alone is worth going back for. My guest had the sea bass with mango salsa (word was alright, nothing special). Waiter was fine but disinterested and uninteresting.

6/23/2106 visit we loved the bang bang shrimp ! We also had a great server .She was informative and attentive ! My girl friend and I came there near the end of happy hour and enjoyed sharing a pairing of shrimp , salmon and dessert yum ! We will definitely come again great fun for a girls night and even my upcoming date night !

Was here for a work thing. Food was ok, something was odd about handing all of us a coupon that was expiring in 3 days. Like.. I dont think I could ever come back to the same restaurant in 3 days. At that point maybe dont hand anything out. It just looks bad from a guests perspective.

The prices in this place are pretty high considering the food. The ambience is great but as a family we tried a few things on their menu and it was really nothing special. I am surprised that I see this place packed all the time yet I cannot understand why. I would not go there again.

We eat here regularly the food is always of excellent quality and always very tasty. Our regular waiter Rob is always courteous friendly and attentive. The manager Sue always talks to us and makes us feel very welcome. I would recomend this restaurant to anyone.

I found the atmosphere to be very nice. The service was excellent. Great martinis and I LOVED my appetizer of Bang Bang Shrimp. I was with a party of three and we all had different entrees. We found the food to be quite mediocre. Too pricy for just so-so food.

Great food and drinks, service is excellent and some of the best lobster bisque I have ever had, bar none! Also, whoever wrote on their review that the food is expensive is totally wrong. On the contrary, they are very reasonable!

We visited Skokie location. Simple but nice ambiance, fresh and tasty seafood, moderate prices for decent sized portions. Make sure Aaron serves you and you will win on all counts. Sorry I have no photos to add but maybe next time.

My food was excellent. I am very picky with my crab cakes but they were actual crab cakes. And my drink was awesome i had a pomegranate martini. Do not eat the grapes in your drink they are frozen.
